George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin divorce rumors have been spreading like wildfire for quite some time already. Speculations have it that the “Ocean’s Eleven” star and the Lebanese-British barrister have been facing a lot of challenges in their marriage caused by their respective jobs and differing lifestyles. There are, also, reports saying that George and Amal could not agree about adding new members to their brood.

Recently, George is accused of having an “illicit affair” with Julia Roberts. A source told NW Magazine, on its Jan. 6 issue, that Amal’s husband and the “Pretty Woman” actress have become closer to each other after doing a number of movies together.

“There’s so much divorce talk surrounding both couples right now, and you can bet your bottom dollar that if George and Julia find themselves single, they’ll be getting together in a heartbeat,” an insider said to the entertainment news publication. “Danny suspects they hooked up back in the day. He always thought it was odd Julia didn’t go to George and Amal’s wedding, despite always banging on about what good mates they are,” it went on.

The same tipster even claimed that Daniel Moder went "ballistic" after, supposedly, learning about George Clooney and Julia Roberts’ secret affair. Both “Money Monster” stars, allegedly, denied their romance despite having been, reportedly, spending time together for several weeks. When Daniel asked Amal Alamuddin’s better half to leave, Julia, reportedly, warned to never forgive her husband if he will bully George into leaving.

However, New Idea Magazine, previously, claimed that George and Amal are not considering splitting amid the never-ending speculations. The media outlet claimed that the couple remains intact even if they have been facing a lot of challenges in their marriage lately. George and Amal, reportedly, created a set of rules that would make them feel more relaxed in the middle of their hectic and chaotic lives.

“Divorce isn’t an option to either of them, so they had to find a way to make this work,” an informant said of George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s marriage. “They have come to appreciate that they’re two very different people, but instead of fighting or trying to impose their will on each other, they’ve found a way to back off in some areas and compromise in others,” it continued.


Though it might be true that George and Amal have been encountering quite a lot of trials as a couple lately, it is important to note that neither of the two has confirmed these unverified claims up to this writing. Moreover, with NW Magazine and New Idea Magazine’s histories of publishing stories based on the statements of its phony sources, these reports could be just works of fiction waiting to be debunked. Hence, fans of George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin should take these rumors with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.

One year ago, a tabloid falsely claimed George Clooney and Amal Clooney were having a third baby and renewing their vows after nearly divorcing. Gossip Cop debunked the story when it was first published. 365 days later, it’s clear the report was untrue.

On January 4, 2019, Gossip Cop called out the Globe for wrongly reporting that George and Amal were calling off a “billion-dollar divorce” and recommitting to each other in a big way. An alleged insider told the magazine that the spouses had been headed for a split over time apart and their different lifestyles, but ultimately realized they “want to stick around for the long haul.” The supposed source went on to say that the human rights lawyer agreed to giver her husband “more space,” while he promised to “make more time” for her and their twins.

From there, the unknown tipster said the Clooneys would renew their vows with a “no-frills beach ceremony” somewhere in Southern California. After that, according to the questionable source, the spouses planned to “undergo IVF” as Amal was “aiming to be a mom again by mid- to late 2019.”

The first major problem with the tabloid’s phony story was that the spouses were never on the verge of a divorce. The outlet didn’t bother to mention when their supposed issues started, but several months prior, Amal gave a touching speech during George’s AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony. The human rights attorney called her spouse an “amazing husband and father” and “the great love that I always hoped existed.” Less than three months before the tabloid published its article, George introduced himself as “Mr. Amal Clooney” at Variety’s Power of Women luncheon. And one month before the bogus story, George and Amal enjoyed a date night in New York City, and the actor’s parents even tagged along. So, at what point exactly were they about to split?


Meanwhile, George and Amal have both been very adamant about not having more kids. The parents of two have both said in separate interviews that they don’t plan on expanding their family. Amal previously told the Hollywood Reporter that she “already had [kids] quite late,” while George said in an interview with Extra that he was “done” having children.

The Clooneys are still going strong in 2020, but they never had another baby or renewed their vows to maintain their marriage. Unfortunately, the Globe hasn’t stopped printing fiction about the couple. Earlier this week, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming George and Amal were having marriage problems as a result of his back pain. The tabloid has no insight into the couple’s relationship.
