Hi, Jo!  It means he's the one man she"s allowed to have an affair with and not get in trouble. I wonder if Amal is Barack's freebie. Somehow I don't think so.

   Well......Around 30 odd years ago it would have been

Placido Domingo.....I fell in love with his voice and he revived 

my Love of Italian Opera, which I'd discovered when I was a teenager.

I.E......Puccini and Verdi mainly.

BTW.....Placido is still alive.....I saw him in a T V shot at the Mexican F1 Grand Prix.

I'm really dating myself but, if he wasn't dead, mine would be Gregory Peck (who most of you chickens have probably never heard of!) I liked him in movies but wasn't too impressed until I met him at a political function. He was quite possibly the most beautiful man I've ever seen (George is adorable - he was stunning!) - and really, really nice, too. (And just to set the record straight, he was quite  a bit older than I was. )

I think George when he was younger was a pretty boy, as he got older he became handsome. Today he is a very handsome

man.

I know we all think George is the gold standard for handsome. That's why I asked who your freebie would be other than George. What if he didn't exist - who would your freebie be then?
