From the video you posted, I don't think he's more on guard presently.

I've followed George Clooney's life over the last 10 plus years.  From where I stand the last 5 years of George Clooney's life plays like a Hollywood movie.  That's no different then the 5 years previous.

I do believe the last 5 years lends him a broader outlook on life, that will be extremely helpful to him as life moves on.

It's Me - Thank you so much for posting this. I wasn't going to watch - just take a quick peek - but ended up watching the whole thing. What a lovely way to start the day!  

It always amazes me how perfectly suited he is for the life he leads. I think maybe he seems more guarded now because of the added responsibilities Amal and the twins have brought into his life. Now he doesn't just have to worry about his own safety and happiness, but about theirs, too. Big responsibility. Added to the changes that come with age, I guess it's understandable that he's not as carefree as he once was.

I agree with Lizzy age changes us all. I don't think any of us  know  George Clooney we know what he wants us to know. 
His wife family and friends know him truly well. 
I think Amal and the kids are the most important things to him  now and he is protective of them and their life as a family.
I don't think he is guarded just private just as he has always been.
As was said the reporter spent seven hours with him and didn't learn anything new.

I think with the changes in George Clooney's life, he will be more guarded.  

It's Me:  Even though he may be more guarded, it actually allows George Clooney more freedom from invasive outside influences.

I'm sure, IMD information is not accurate; they probably try to update information.

IMDb is generally very accurate. I don't know how often they update the production status of projects, but I think it's fairly frequent. They do cover a lot of people.

It's Me - Sorry I wasn't more clear. IMDb lists the projects he is attached to. It doesn't say which ones he is producing, acting in or directing - it just says these are projects he s working on. He could be writing, directing, acting or producing any one of them.
