Re: George Clooney filming in Rome
PAN, I did some research on fountains in Italy. I did not see anything on the one, George Clooney is standing next to, however I did see where Rome is home to some beautiful historical fountains.
"It's me" lives in Italy and Benex is in Sutri, maybe they have some information on the fountain.

Wonder if George stopped in for some mushroom soup?

Clooney-Sgarbi, act two. After the post published a few days ago by the art critic, who accused the troupe committed to Sutri in the filming of the TV series ' Catch 22 ' with and directed by George Clooney to have dirted the town of which Sgarbi is mayor for some months, arrives the replica through The words of Lotus Production, which reads in the ' journal ', "has really enjoyed the reception reserved by the town of Sutri" but never would have expected to read in the national and international press the negative statements of his first Citizen ".
"As well known to Dr. Sgarbi-continues the letter-, the production was occupied, with the utmost diligence, competence and seriousness, which has always characterized, the setting up of the film set for the TV series ' Catch 22 ' and the consequent dismantling of the equipment and cleaning of all the places used. The overall sustained expenditure was not only ' a modest contribution of just five thousand euros ' requested and paid to the municipality of Sutri as stated by Dr Sgarbi, but more than 65,000 paid through transfers to shops and citizens for the inconvenience, As from the documentation in our possession.
The layer of Earth- "No" tampering with the country... impertinent... Bully "has never been perpetrated against the town " and its inhabitants who, on the contrary, have "demonstrated their full support and appreciation. does not correspond to the truth-continues the production of the TV series-that "the layer of Earth placed to cover the paving stones and return the original appearance of clay has been removed slowly, without special care, by raising annoying powders, Forcing citizens to clean up. ' No citizen, in fact-is stressed-, was forced to clean up anything, since the cleaning work has been entrusted to specialized companies, which have perfectly restored the status of the places prior to filming ". Furthermore, it is noted that no ' formal protest ' has ever come to the film's production. '
"I would point out, among other things, that Mr Clooney certainly does not have the management of setting up and dismantling the film set-the letter continues-. In the hope that the post published by the press office of Dr. Sgarbi is the result of an unfortunate misunderstanding, "the production asks " That is immediately removed "as well as" the formal apology from Dr. Sgarbi and his press office, both in Production against Mr. Clooney ", otherwise " will force me to protect the reasons for Lotus production and Mr. Clooney. "
Sgarbi-words to which, always from the pages of the ' newspaper ', Sgarbi replica: "Nothing I knew of your production. None of you showed up. " And again, he adds, "Two of my trusted collaborators", during a dinner at Sutri on July 23, "I have been told that the city was still dirty and that many citizens had provided (perhaps because you already compensated) to clean up directly."
"I acknowledge-writes the art critic-that some citizens have had" credit transfers for the inconvenience ", but public spaces are not of those citizens. I therefore have no difficulty in denying it, possessing the photographic documentation showing with evidence the residues of dirt and earth. As for the cleaning work does not correspond to the truth that they have "perfectly restored the state of the places prior to filming" "because a witness " told me to have intervened to clean up (and the photos attent) residues of dust and earth ".
The pictures-photos that Sgarbi has published for a few hours on his profile. A "photographic documentation-writes the art critic in the newspaper-I found after the press", which "Unfortunately gives you wrong. Even with my regret. I would not therefore have reason to remove the post on Facebook but I have nothing against it-then adds Sgarbi-, of course after having published photographs of the situation left after the first two days of your "cleaning work". As a demonstration of my estimation I can do more: appoint Mr. Clooney as an honorary citizen of Sutri.

Viterbo - From Hollywood to Tuscia, the passage is short. At least for George Clooney.
After Sutri, touched not without controversy Friday, July 20, the actor and director is ready to land in Viterbo to continue the filming of Catch-22, the television series based on the novel by Joseph Heller (published in Italy under the title Comma 22) that will air on Sky Atlantic.
The actor is director, interpreter and executive producer of the films and from the first to the third of August he will be in the capital together with the technicians and the artists to shoot some scenes in a script.
The city is ready to welcome it between security measures and restrictions, which in the three days will involve a large part of the historic center between parking bans and pedestrian transit stops.

I was thinking the same thing. If they're filming Hugh Laurie, George must be somewhere around - unless he's not directing that part of the show.

Don't forget that there are three directors for six episodes of this each directing two episodes: George, Grant Heslov and a lady who I think is in this piece of film.
So as well as location work there's stuff going on in the Rome Studios and George also has an editing suite in Laglio...............

Re: George Clooney filming in Rome
He sounded worried
But at least
On his feet
Sort of usual life
I would like to keep away this sadness

Re: George Clooney filming in Rome
George doesn't own a home in Malibu so no reason for him to be there. My guess he is with Amal if she is still in New York.
But, he could be any where we will never know until he is seen.
