I hope he doesn't overdo it just to prove he can still bounce back. He looks like he's still in pain and that's a pretty noticeable limp.

He looks much better than he did when leaving for Laglio. He is still in pain but moving better. Going home and resting had done him good. Now let's hope he doesn't over do it.

He's also carrying his own backpack: in the pics from Sardinia, Gio was carrying it.

Its reassuring to see George going back to the film set. A few days in Como looks like it did some good. He’s struggling but is at least managing on his own now.

George Clooney Walks Unassisted Just Five Days After Terrifying Scooter Crash -- Pic

George Clooney looks to be healing quickly after his frightening motorcycle accident in Italy less than a week ago.
The Oscar-winner was spotted flashing his winning smile as he arrived in Rome via airplane on Sunday, where walked off his private jet and crossed the tarmac unassisted, while carrying his backpack.
The 57-year-old actor -- who was involved in a head-on collision on July 10 while traveling 60mph on his scooter on the Italian island of Sardinia -- seemed to be in high spirits, but was still clearly in pain as he gingerly walked through the small airport in Rome, where he is currently filming his new Hulu series, Catch-22.

The sighting comes just three days after Clooney was seen getting on a private plane with his wife, Amal Clooney, and their twins, during which the actor required help from flight crew as he hobbled onto the small aircraft.
Clearly, Clooney is getting better quickly, which is an impressive feat considering the seriousness of his accident, which sent him flying nearly 20 feet through the air.
Italian authorities previously confirmed to ET that Clooney was involved in a traffic collision while riding his scooter near Olbia, Italy.

Security camera footage of the crash shows just how serious the accident was. In the video, a motorbike ahead of Clooney is actually able to narrowly dodge a black car when the vehicle suddenly stops in front of it, but the actor isn't so lucky, and smashes straight into the car.
A source told ET that Clooney’s helmet hit the windshield so hard it broke due to the force of the impact. He was hospitalized after the accident.
A rep for Clooney told ET, "George was treated and released from an Olbia hospital," and said the movie star "will be fine."

Re: George landing in Rome
That is the absolute best way to deal with a head on accident... travel around a bit ... couple of trips on a plane, test if the pressurisation ruptured a vain or two....
I honestly thought he had gone to further medical assessment... or serious R and R, a week, ten days....but no what better way to test the bodies power of recuperation than yanking your own back pack across the tarmac.....
BIZARRE!
BTW doesn’t he look as cute as a button in blue....

Since he was home he could have been seen by other doctors, we really don't know. It is not like we would be given that information.

Re: George landing in Rome
I think it is more than stubborn , he doesn't have to worry about money the other people he is working with do.
They have to work to get paid , i don't think stopping and letting them down is an option for George.

Re: George landing in Rome
Annemarie - He doesn't personally have to worry about money but if his not being able to work holds up production of the series it can cost other people a lot of money. Worst case scenario, it could make it necessary to replace George with another actor or even scuttle the project. So much of these projects depends on timing and availability.

Re: George landing in Rome
I get that production is expensive, but I think he would be more worried about the people who are working for him not getting paid if he couldn't work.

Letting others helping him

Re: George landing in Rome
I wasn't suggesting he only cares about himself. Just the opposite. The fact that his injuries could derail the project, I think, is what's making him push himself to get back to work - even if he'd be better off taking it easy for a while longer. He doesn't want to risk disrupting other people's professional commitments or cause anyone loss of income from this job.
It's Me - I'm sure there are lots of people on set who would be happy to help him any way they can. The problem is, IMO, he's a bit of a control freak and might not want to accept their help.

Re: George landing in Rome
George will persevere. It’s in his nature. Any help he needs on set he’s going to get it. Grant will look out for him as will others. As far as we know there were no fractures. He was banged up. There were bruises. Probably serious bruises. He may still be pretty sore but his injuries may not be as bad as we think they are.
