I think when he is dressed well in a suit or tux he looks great. I think some of my favorite looks from Amal were for their wedding.

I really loved the lavender she wore in Venice in September she really looked fabulous.

Its hard for me to pick my favorite dress that Amal has worn.  I have many favorites, including the lavender gown she wore in Venice and the blue gown she wore on the red carpet in LA last fall.  A standout for me was the black gown she wore when she and George made their first public appearance together in Florence.  It was black with simple lines and set off by a pair of beautiful earrings.  I think it was her whole look that was stunning for me.  

I agree.  George rocks a tuxedo.  He can hardly ever go wrong when he is suited up.

Donnamarie - I have to agree. I don't think she ever looked better than she did in Florence. The gown was stunning and her hair and makeup were just right. Perfect look.

George always looks great when he dresses up. I can't think of anyone else who wears a tux as well as he does.

This is my favorite George Clooney red carpet look !!!  Every time I view it, I'm reminded of the Prince who found his Princess.  It always makes my heart skip a beat.

Amal looks like Bell of the Ball;  the dress she is wearing rounds out my top 3 favorite Amal picks.

I don't remember the blue gown, but I love everything she had worn. The only dress I didn't like was the one she wore for Suburbicon premiere.

Doug Ross, do you mean the gown she wore for the Venice or LA premiere?  The blue (actually blue and white) gown that I referred to was the one she wore for the LA premiere of ‘Suburbicon’.

Even though the fit at that top is a little "snarky", I absolutely loved the fabric, I love the color, and I love, love, love, her hair.  She looked absolutely beautiful, in my opinion.

Annemarie, there are plenty past and present I do not like.  I'm pretty new here, I just wondered what were some favorites others may have.

That photo made me realise how often George's women dressed much more formally than he did. It often strikes me how Amal seems much more dressed up than he does. Is she overdressed or is he under-dressed? Is George Clooney  really    affraid a secret slob ? Eeek!

Hahaha! Not sure about secret slob, but yeah, in most situations, most of the time his partner has been more nicely dressed than he was. It was pointed out over and over again as a sign of how mismatched he and [insert partner's name here] were.

Personally, I think the answer's simple: George likes to be comfy whereas most women do like to dress up in pretty clothes. I know if I were going to dinner and had access to the kind of clothes his partners get, I wouldn't be in jeans and t-shirt every time. Even more so when on the red carpet.

To me it’s almost always the case when couples go out together (including my husband) women always outdress the guys.  Sometimes it gets pretty annoying.  For couples who have been married forever, wives just have to get over it or it will drive you crazzzzy!!!

I loved her gown it was perfect for her not over done.

It is true my husband of nearly 34 years does not like to get dressed up for dinner. I think we as women enjoy getting ready finding the right outfit. Men could care less clean jeans and t shirt they are set.lol
