Class of 2013 re-union...
For the first time since I joined I am home alone....I admit I don't come often...but this is the vey first time I have knocked on the door and no one is home....open house is very empty....
I often wondered if GC didn't like the forum....saw his part (the glue) as demeaning...or inhibiting of us, not him....but I miss the friendship....2013 was a haed year for me made softer by COH....I'm better now and in ways thanks to you, not GC....you....
But his glue was hypnotic and addictive and I swallowed on a daily basis whatever glue was served up....I enjoyed and relished every succulent mouthful.....
My stomach turned with Nadia Murad....that sickened me....still like an obedient believer, I still believe, hope, pray that George Clooney had no hand, act, or part in that deplorable publicity stunt....
That somehow it happened without his knowledge, or without a full understanding of the implications....we have all been there too busy, too trusting, too believing....
The last 3 years have been as unpredictable and dramatic as any soap opera on the telly....

Way2Old - Is it George you're upset with or us? Are you missing the friends who have dropped away or did you just get up so early that no one else was on site? Either way, we're still here - a distraction from the rest of the world. It has to get better eventually.

WWHS, I read your comments and I guess I have the same questions as Lizzy. You seem really upset. So I hope you will talk a bit more about what's bothering you.

WWHS - Mea culpa. I'm so sorry I misread your name. Apparently I was having a senior moment! - However, the sentiment remains the same.

Hi WWHS.... Can you explain why you feel sorry for George
and pity for Amal please.
I must be missing something as I'm thinking the exact opposite.
I'm happy for them as a complete family now.
I'm not judging or criticising.....just curious see.

Make that 3 Joanna! I'm happy for George and Amal. I think they will be wonderful parents. I don't understand feeling pity or sorry for either one of them. They are good and caring people. I think their families and friends have made those points crystal clear in their public statements.

Re: Class of 2013 re-union...
Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but I didn't think WWHS meant she wasn't happy that G&A have become a family with the twins arrival - or that she doesn't wish them well. It seemed to me she was saying that they would have a lot to deal with from the outside world and she's sorry for that.
Only my interpretation and I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

I am really happy for them, and George couldn't have put it better than he did by saying that they'd embraced the whole experience with open arms. It's quite something isn't it, and possibly something neither of them would have thought was likely just a few years ago.
I love the way they have left the chatting to the press to the grandparents too. Very thoughtful.

Same here, Joanna. I think WWHS thinks that George lives his life in order to please WWHS's needs and opinions and is disappointed by him.

Katie - I don't think WWHS expects George to live to please us, but she is disappointed by him recently. He seems to have changed (which is only natural considering the circumstances) and I think she's afraid he's becoming just another rich celebrity. I don't agree, but only time will tell.

Re: Class of 2013 re-union...
Lizzy , I agree George hasn't changed he has married and has a family. What we know of George is only a small part of his life. To be honest we don't know much other than a few blurbs often repeated. I think he is living his life the way he wants , he has money and enjoys living a good life he earned it so why not enjoy it.
He still has his charity work which we can see he is still involved in and his and Amals foundation which is important to them both.

Re: Class of 2013 re-union...
I also read WWHS's words to mean that she is very disappointed in George and the way he leads his life now. It seems to have been the case for many months.
Annemarie's words echo exactly what I feel. I think there are many women who were disappointed when George got married. They wanted him to be the renegade single man forever ... living his life being true to himself. Being married and now having a family does change everyone to some extent but I have not seen a change in the man himself. At least from the public side that we are privy to. As Annemarie said we only know about a very small part of his life. But the words from him, his friends and family show no change in the character of George.

Re: Class of 2013 re-union...
Lizzy, Annemarie, Donnamarie: you're probably right. I just read the "especially the ones that treat ME like a baba...." as taking his behaviour personally.
I think a lot of people are disappointed in his behaviour (and not recently either - it's been a constant theme on his fan boards how he's supposedly changed) but I read a more personal reaction to that in WWHS's comment.

Re: Class of 2013 re-union...
Katie, I know what you mean and I think you may be right that WWHS feels a more personal connection to George's life than most of us. I get the feeling that she has a more personal connection to the world in general, if that makes any sense. Sorry, I can't put it more clearly.

temp thread
I am so bad!....I posted a few days back and received loads of replies back to my post read them later that day....AND now can't find the post....
I'm just going to reply here....but if you don't remember your reply they all went along the lines that I was disappointed inGeorge....
You could be right...or I could be disappointed in myself, for having an expectation...which is something you should never do regarding someone else's life, never!...
I would say it's the total lack of relate-ability that sucks....he went from 100% relatable to zero.....where's the fun in that?....
Sweet baby J, I don't expect everyone to Jennifer Gardner....but just a shot of normal would be nice....
last time I flew Ryan Air there were seven of those bassinets blocking the aisle.....getting to the toilet was a nightmare....I had one either side we hit turbulence and my red wine went over one and my tomato sauce went over the other.....jk
I've heard of showmance, bromance, now we have babymance.....too innocent to know they are The New Tequila Bottles.....
Oh oh George why did you never meet Jennifer when you were both single...she would have given you bassinet....my a@@......
It's never too late....you could go for a blended family ....Now there's a thought.....
