She is typically seen in high-end designer dresses or Ede & Ravenscroft legal gowns. 
Yet mum-to-be Amal Clooney went for an entirely different look when she took a romantic country stroll with her actor husband George near their home in Sonning-on-Thames, Berkshire on Friday.
The 39-year-old Human Rights lawyer, who is expecting twins, cut a totally casual figure as she sported a funky bomber jacket paired with jeans while the legendary heartthrob, 55, was barely-recognisable in wide-leg jeans and a trilby.

George and Amal, who married in 2014, purchased their marital home, a 17th Century Grade II listed mansion, in the shire county and moved in last year after extensive renovations. 
Clearly taking extremely well to life away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, the couple blended into their countryside backdrop to perfection with no inkling of their A-list status to be found.

Amal proved she is every inch the style chameleon as she shed her usual glitzy ensembles in favour of a pared-back look - yet still nailed the trendy style with her khaki bomber jacket and skin-tight jeans. 
Despite expecting two babies, the stunning star's bump was nowhere to be seen although it was plain to see she was boasting the fabled expectant mother glow.

Shielding her eyes from the Spring sun, she wore a pair of trendy aviator sunglasses while also pulling a baker boy cap low over her face. 
George looked worlds away from his dapper red carpet looks as he sported a heavy grey beard alongside a pair of transition lenses. 
He wore a pair of wide-leg jeans with a light wash while also rocking a zip-up hoodie, adorned with the Warner Bros logo, while his trilby wrapped up the look to perfection.  
The couple appear to be enjoying the spoils of country living, as it was recently revealed Amal had designated a bedroom in their newly-renovated manor to be a nursery for the twins.

Us Weekly reported that Amal has already selected a London hospital where she will give birth this summer, with a backup selected in New York City in case they will be travelling. 

Having announced she was pregnant with twins in February, it was recently confirmed by George's mother Nina that the pair were expecting one of each sex.
In an interview with RadarOnline, the 77-year-old former city councilwoman shared her excitement over the expected June arrival for George and his glamorous wife.

Meanwhile, George himself recently spoke for the first time of his 'excitement' at the news that he and Amal will be welcoming twins this summer.
The actor said: 'We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all with arms wide open.'

annemarie - I knew either you or PAN would post this as soon as I saw it. Doug Ross, who is John Landros? I wonder, too, who's in front of him wearing an orange sweatsuit. I bet it's her mother. That seems to be her style.

It may be Baria but I think the fail would have mentioned her.

John Lambros is one of George' best friends, the one who gave the speech at the wedding. The person in orange could also be his son.

Doug Ross - I don't remember ever seeing him before. I guess that could be his son, but what self-respecting teenage boy would be caught dead in that outfit? I'm still betting it's her mother.

The photographer seemed to have cut everyone else out of the photos , it says they were with a pal there were two people with them. I think if it was baria they would have said something they know who she is.

Super sweet, it reminds me of the first photo shoot.  They have a love story, love songs are written about.  I look forward to watching this love story continue to unfold.

Always surprises me how slight she is next to him especially without heels. And he's amazingly slim........

He looks like HER grandfather! God knows what he'll look like after the twins come.

To me he doesn't look anything liker her grandfather if she were 25 maybe but she looks like what she is a 39 year old.

Lizzy- he looks like a grandfather to be, not a daddy to be... IMO.   Flash back to photos while filming Suburbian ( or whatever it's called), then compare them to this recent walk.    .

That's a man 1) under a lot of stress -- BESIDES routine expectant fatherhood 2) who's really showing his 56 years.

IMO it's the goatee that ages him too much. Sorry annemarie. I know you're a big fan of it. His facial hair is almost all gray now so it ages his face. I remember when he used to wear a beard ... back in the Elisabetta period. His beard was pepper and some salt. It was so sexy on him.

I don't think his older looks has anything to do with stress. I think it's his premature gray hair for the most part ... and maybe a bit too much sun over the years. But for better or worse he seems to accept it. I'm just glad he didn't resort to dyeing his hair or plastic surgery. It wouldn't be George-like.

Agreed that the beard was super sexy when it was darker. He looks older now than he did before because - like all of us - he is older now than he was before. Or am I missing something here?

And yup, he's been wearing the grandpa jeans, yellow glasses and heinous trilby for several years. And will continue wearing them for years to come because he likes them. And I'll keep on whingeing about what he wears for years to come because . . . um, well, just 'cos, really.

Please look at a picture of Amal's father, George doesn't even look like her FATHER how could you guys compare him as her GRANDFATHER?! Her grandfather was dead long time ago I assume.

Sorry to upset you, Sevens. I've been a George fan since the days of "Roseanne" and "Facts of Life", and have recently seen quite a few of his more recent movies on tv. It disturbs me that he has aged so much in the last few years - IMO, more than his actual age would warrant. I wonder if it's residual effects from his spinal injuries on"Syriana" and the surgeries and medication that followed. - And to be honest, his "sense of style" doesn't help!

He will look better with his summer hair cut and tan. I think the new pieces we have seen him wear are Amal buying him things. I don't think she can get him out of those jeans he is comfortable.

If she bought him that hat she has totally lost any claim to being a "fashion icon". It's horrible and makes him look awful - especially with those orange glasses! Ick!

If you compare the pix of them walking in the Sonning countryside and them attending the screening, which happened just days later, you definetely see how different George looks, and he has the same grey hair and the same facial hair. So for me it's the clothes and this - let's just say not very stylish - that makes the difference.
Maybe he does use make-up at official events now as well, or it's just the contrast between pix shot outside and inside. I remember pix of them going out to dinner on Lake Como two years ago, and he looked so tanned that it seemed unrealistic to me.

Carol those pix of George and Amal two years ago where there looked so dark ... I think the lighting was distorted. Because a few days later where they were photographed they didn't look that dark at all.

I may be one of the few fans here who has never believed George has worn makeup. Even during movie shoots. He has said as much over the years. He has unfortunately inherited the under eye bags that his dad has which can also make someone look older or tired. There is definitely times when he looks better in pix than others. And there could be different reasons for it. I do think lighting plays a big part. When someone is candidly photographed the right or wrong lighting can either complement your assets or accentuate your flaws. And the lighting definitely affects how gray George's hair looks.

It is chilly there that is why they are dressed warm, this is a new picture.

Sevens, it is said that when an older man and younger woman are together, he "looks old enough to be her father (or grandfather)".  So, it isn't that he and her father (or grandfather) look alike, just that he LOOKS old enough to be her father.  Which he actually is...

To be fair, there's no one who always looks the same and we all have our bad days and our great days.

Thank goodness I'm a woman and I can at least cheat the system a bit with piling on the makeup on the days when I feel crap. George just has to go with it.

FWIW, I don't think he looks any different in these shots than in any other recent shots.
