George Clooney interviews and videos about fatherhood
This section of the forum is for interviews with George. I know we have the baby thread but these interviews cover all sorts of topics, so I'm going to put these here for the time being. I may move them again later to a place they fit better.

George Clooney Says Pregnant Wife Amal Is Doing 'Amazing'
George Clooney is joined by his Suburbicon cast members Matt Damon and Julianne Moore during an appearance at 2017 CinemaCon on Tuesday (March 28) in Las Vegas.
The 55-year-old filmmaker is directing, writing, and producing the upcoming movie and the trio presented it to movie theater owners during the event.
George opened up about expecting a baby with wife Amal while on the red carpet.
“She is doing really great. She is amazing. I don’t have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff,” George told Extra. When asked if he’s ready to become a father he said, “I know swaddling… I know what I’m in for.”

George Clooney is a busy dad to be!
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with the actor at CinemaCon in Las Vegas where he spoke about the impending arrival of twins with wife Amal, and his new movie “Suburbicon.”
When Renee asked how Amal is feeling, Clooney said, “She is doing really great. She is amazing. I don’t have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff.”
The babies, reportedly due this summer, will be the first children for the 55-year-old superstar and his highly accomplished 39-year-old attorney wife.
Clooney is ready, he assured Renee, “I know swaddling… I know what I’m in for.”
He also joked that diapers will be an important part of life “for me not for the kids.”
His friend Julianne Moore, who stars in “Suburbicon,” also thinks he’s ready. She hit the red carpet with George and told Renee, “I think it is great. I think he is going to be a natural. I’m not worried about him at all.”

George Clooney is ready to meet his twins.
E! News' Marc Malkin caught up with the first-time father-to-be at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where he was joined by Matt Damon and Julianne Moore to present the first trailer for Paramount's Suburbicon. Conversation quickly turned to Amal Clooney and their babies, and not even George can wrap his head around the exciting times ahead.
"Can you believe it?! Yeah, [I'm] even happier [than before,]" he gushed. "I didn't know that we'd have kids. I was very happy that we were going to get married and then [a pregnancy] seemed like the next step."
But when asked if he's busy baby-proofing their home or practicing how to change diapers, George was quick to shut down the idea that he needs a few extra rehearsal rounds.
"Hang on for a minute. I played a pediatrician on ER," Clooney quipped, referencing his breakout role on the long-running medical drama.
George continued, "So I know how to work on extra children... If there's any accidents I'm there. I'm the guy."
As for naming their twin bundles of joy, Clooney insisted he and Amal have yet to nail down, let alone brainstorm, any potential monikers.
Explaining their reluctance to name the kids before meeting them, he teased, "Because I've had friends pick out names around their parents and then it becomes... whatever name you pick they're like, ‘Oh, I don't like that. That guy's a prime minister… Can't name her Susan. You remember your Aunt Susan?'"

Re: George Clooney interviews and videos about fatherhood
I think George is speaking from his heart. I trust he will be able to handle "extra" children. No worries with family drama. Remember he has swaddling in his DNA..., with a great family and friends support I'm sure he's prepared to take on all the drama that comes with twins...PigPen wrote:What the hell is he supposed to say.... Re: George Clooney interviews and videos about fatherhood
It's lovely to hear George talk about Amal's pregnancy and becoming a dad.
Though almost everyone else in these pics is dressed down George went the other route and wore a smart looking suit. He left the jeans and leather jacket at home this time. Good choice! He looks so good.
