I'm just thinking if we ever did a similar show on German tv to thank those who protect us - I don't think so

But I think we should... I sometimes  watch the news and see when a navy ship returns from one of the displaced parts of the world and their families welcome them. We take it for granted that they risk their lifes and miss the holidays, birthdays, the growing-up of their children - I wouldn't...

PAN - Thanks for the video. With all the best intentions, I STILL missed it!  - (and it aired on at least 3 channels that I know of!)

Duty Calls.  Maybe George Clooney will answer the call in 2020.  President or Vice President?

I'm sure he will never run for either office , he has said so countless times. He saw what his father went through when he ran for Congress. George likes his freedom too much .

I always love the end of the Nespresso ads on tv, because even when he's not in them, he always speaks at the end: "Nespresso, what else?"

And - as I said before - since all movies in tv are usually shown in a synchronized version, I never got to hear George's voice before I saw an interview with him on youtube and then watched one of his movies in English and was so surprised because his German voice doesn't have this warm touch.
