it's me - I don't know when they started filming - probably in the last couple of days -, but I sure am glad they did! It's about time he got back to work.

I meant behind the camera - on set - filming. Actually making the movie. It means they're really underway and it's actually becoming a movie instead of an idea or a treatment. Very Happy

Strange. The Sun is the second place I've seen it mentioned that George is acting in the movie as well as directing. 'Just Jared' mentioned it, too. Maybe The Sun got it from him, or he from them. Or maybe George is in it. Can't at the moment remember who (swiss cheese for brains today) but didn't someone have to back out at the last minute? Maybe George stepped in?

Sevens - The "directing alongside Joel Coen" didn't surprise me, since Joel is a co-writer of the movie and he usually does direct, I can see where someone could come to that conclusion when he turned up on set with George.

Since they've worked together so much, and since the script was originally the Coen's, it's possible that George asked him for his advice. This might be an informal collaboration rather than a completely independent project for George - although he'll be credited for the film.

Lizzy I can't see Joel in any set pictures. They're based in NY normally...but I could see George seek some advice from them about anything in the process. Some weird kids and fat old men in the cast we see from the pictures seem to be very Coen-style.

Do you remember Tomorrowland....the fist 10/20 minutes at the Disney park....remember the use of colour in that....very powerful....

I wonder is this going to "steal" a bit of that vibe....I hope so I loved that colouration or whatever it was?.....I know zero about movies....so I may be talking crap and nobody has any idea what i'm talking about....
