Time Warner CEO pressed by shareholder on George's politics 17.6.16

I'm at loss here, what exactly was the shareholders issue? The 'foreigner wife'? Or George's political views?

A bit of both I think. An election year - and probably not a Democrat?! 

But I thjnk Bewkes handled it well. Maybe he's used to it.

I think historically the questioner and her family have been democrats.  She may just not like Amal (perhaps as Amal is perceived as anti-Israel, although I have no idea of Amal's real views), or she may not like Hillary, or she may not like the current state of political fundraising-- a lot of people don't.  

The woman apparently had other questions at the meeting, not just about George.  There is someone at every meeting who likes to talk!
