The International Center for Journalists is based in Washington DC, and I notice from their website that Charlie Rose is being presented with an award in November.......

I love Charlie Rose. He is a class act and one of the few journalists in this country who brings intelligent conversation to the public. I hope George can attend the ceremony to support his friend, even if they don't ask him to present the award.

If anyone is deserving of a outstanding journalist award it should be Charlie Rose. His show and interviews are first rate. I would love to have dinner with him and listen to him talk about anything. His wealth of knowledge is amazing!

I'm going to guess that Amal is in either Azerbaijan or at the European Court of justice sorting out her case. She will be in Yereven I think to give the scholarship award with her name on it and for the 100th anniversary. I'm guessing Geoffrey Robertson Qc will be with her

The Yerevan visit includes a global forum on genocide, The Aurora Dialogues and a tour of the Armenia Genocide Museum. It will end with the prize award ceremony on Sunday April 24. I think she will be there on Sunday if not tomorrow.

One media outlet quoted George in Armenia saying that Amal unfortunately would not be able to attend this event. After her meetings in Washington she was going to be in Azerbaijan.

Yep. News am the Armenian paper and website (see above) has footage of George explaining her absence and the paper say she's in Baku (2 hours away by plane). Sorry, away so can't post..
