George Clooney is Tuesday, January 26th guest in RTL Late Night. The American actor is in the Netherlands for Good Money Gala in Carré to speak there on behalf of his human rights organization Not On Our Watch.

RTL Broadcast Late Night is from Carré, as late as Wednesday RTL know.

Clooney will, according to RTL talk about his career, his relationship with the Netherlands and Amsterdam. Also, tell him about Not On Our Watch, and he talks about his part in improving the world.

George Clooney is dinsdag 26 januari te gast in RTL Late Night. De Amerikaanse acteur is in Nederland voor het Goed Geld Gala in Carré om daar te spreken namens zijn mensenrechtenorganisatie Not On Our Watch.
De uitzending van RTL Late Night is vanuit Carré, zo laat RTL woensdag weten.
Clooney zal volgens RTL praten over zijn carrière, zijn band met Nederland en Amsterdam. Ook zal hij vertellen over Not On Our Watch en vertelt hij over zijn aandeel in het verbeteren van de wereld.

I wonder why he goes to a talkshow in Amsterdam. When I saw the thread title I thought the movie promotion starts but I wouldn't have expected that he goes to a talkshow in Amsterdam to talk about not on our watch. Maybe that's a warm up before the movie promotion starts

Nou dames (oh, en heren) daar istie hoor: Hollywoodster George Clooney heeft voet gezet op Nederlandse bodem. De acteur is vanavond bij het Goed Geld Gala in Amsterdam, waar hij eregast is en spreker.
De Postcodeloterij maakt vanavond met het jaarlijkse Goed Geld Gala in het Amsterdamse Carré traditiegetrouw bekend naar welke goede doelen het geld van de loterij gaat. George Clooney is te gast en zal het ook hebben over zijn mensenrechtenorganisatie Not On Our Watch. De organisatie vraagt wereldwijd aandacht voor onderbelichte mensenrechtenschendingen en zamelt geld in om de wreedheden die op grote schaal plaatsvinden te stoppen.
Vanavond in RTL Boulevard schakelen we live met het gala, waar Winston Gerschtanowitz voor ons op de rode loper staat om George Clooney nog even te spreken!

Finally figured it out but it stopped. Never mind. Next time maybe.. Hope you can enjoy the show guys!

I am able to watch the livestream - although don't understand much they're talking about (Dutch and German are said to be related languages but Dutch is a real strange language...).

The interview with George was about 30 minutes long, and he did very well. Didn't talk much that was new but always interesting and also interested. He also mentioned the restrictions Denmark put on refugees today with taking their money and values (well, Switzerland already does it, and unfortunately some authorities in Germany do if as well, others don't, depending on how they interprete the laws...).
I think he did very well, and for everybody who wasn't able to watch the livestream I hope they put the interview on youtube.

I was only able to see a snippet.  George was talking about Syriana and how hard it is to make those kinds of movies.  He praised Beast Of No Nation.  And he joked about spending lots of time with "Linda". 

Yep carolh hope the interview shows up on YouTube.

Managed to see most of it - and it featured excerpts from the Scottish interview which would explain why that's not on Youtube.

A great interview (tho quite a lot we might already know but some we didn't like if he ever fears for his own safety). He's been made an Ambassador for the Postcode Lottery and he wants to take the idea to the States........

He and John Prendergast were donated a cheque from it for 500,000 euros as a start and it was fun to see him taking part as one of many. Amnesty International received a cheque for between one and two million and there were many many charites who benefitted........

He also apologised for America currently having a fascist moment with an election candidate!

Yeah finally got it. I didnt agree with him about the refugee topic but the rest was really interesting. I didnt know anything about the story when his family and G went to other neighbors/strangers on Cristmas and gave them presents and food. Thats truly remarkable!

......so he is now on RTL Late Night..........

I loved the video with Valentino, it was very touching, and I think George and John were moved as much as we were.

This really shows you the difference people can make by trying to change something. I often hear people say: "I can't change anything anyway so I'm not going to try!"
To be told that your fight saved millions of people's lifes must just be unbelievable! And even if it doesn't last it's always worth trying and continuing to fight IMO.
