I didn't even know he was sick. I wasn't a fan of his music but he was an incredibly talented artist and performer. Sad.

In my younger days, I spent some time with Bowie (I, ahem, "dated" his touring drummer). He was an incredibly nice man. Very engaging, generous, and sweet. His 'people' genuinely adored him.

I was a fan of his and sad to see him go so "young" (by my standards anyway!) Heroes is one of my favorites--especially when he did it in multiple languages.
