"Are you going to wear a tequila t-shirt again?"
Hahahahahaha I literally laughed out loud when I read that.
I hope she burns all those Casamigos t-shirts he has when he's not home! Lol

Ha! Hilarious. But if it wasn't Casamigos it would be some other tshirt and jeans and suede boots for dinner. It's George's go-to outfit for all occasions. Good luck Amal with that one.
Thanks Tulips for the post. Enjoyed reading an interview that I didn't have to figure out what the word vaccinated really meant.

George Clooney spills the beans on his marriage to Amal

MARRIAGE is a major adjustment for anyone, but it seems George Clooney, 54, was more than ready for it.
The Oscar-winning heart-throb, who reigned as Hollywood’s most celebrated bachelor until he tied the knot with British-Lebanese beauty Amal Alamuddin, 37, last September, says, “There was nothing tough about it. Our only adjustments are figuring out our schedules. Our deal is that we can’t be more than a week apart. So far that’s worked out pretty well.”
Having interviewed Clooney for over 20 years throughout his romances with the likes of WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, cocktail waitress Sarah Larson, Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis, British model Lisa Snowdon and American actresses Renee Zelwegger and Krista Allen, he has always remained mum on the subject of his romantic life. Interestingly, now that he’s married and perhaps feels more secure on the subject, he’s happy to open up.
And the happy couple doesn’t appear to be experiencing any teething problems during this first year of married life. “We don’t disagree on many things so far,” he says. “We will see. And since she’s smarter than me, the only way we resolve anything is by arm wrestling. That is my only chance of winning anything with her because if it’s an intellectual battle, I would lose.” He seems to relish in his wife’s cerebral qualities. “She’s the smart one in the family.” He smiles.
And will the family be expanding anytime soon?
“Ah,” he laughs, nodding. “I have actually no idea about that.”
Although Clooney is an old hand at navigating through the often-treacherous waters of celebrity, human rights lawyer Amal has had to deal with life in the spotlight overnight.
“Well, that’s part of the world that comes with us getting married but she doesn’t think of herself as a celebrity. She’s found a wonderful way of balancing the idea of what she does for a living. She’s very well groomed to handle a lot of pressure.”
Presumably, she must be enjoying some of the obvious perks? “Sometimes people will give her a dress because they want their name to be out there, but she’s a grown person and she pays for a lot of her own stuff.”
The glamorous couple attended the Met Ball (Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual gala) last week and Amal wowed the paparazzi wearing a scarlet-hued John Galliano gown. He says, “The funny thing is, from the first day I met Amal, you could see that she has her own sense of style. She doesn’t have a stylist, she has clothes that she loves to wear and she knows exactly what they are.”
And how much did he enjoy his tux? “Let me tell you something, that’s the only time in my life I’ve ever worn the tie and tails thing. And I don’t think I’m going to do it again. That took a long time to put it on and take it off.”
As for his own style, he confesses, “Sometimes Amal looks at me confused about my sense of style,” he laughs. “There are times when she says, ‘Are you going to wear a Tequila T-shirt again?’”
Listening to him wax lyrical about his wife, there doesn’t appear to be much she can’t do. Do her talents extend to the kitchen? “Well, I cook a little bit. My wife makes reservations,” he laughs. And her mother makes reservations, so it’s a generational thing.” Having married into a Lebanese family, he must be familiar with middle-eastern cuisine. “Yes, I’m now a bit of a connoisseur of Lebanese food. I didn’t know much about it before but I find it to be fantastic. We eat a lot of Tabbouleh.

“And listen, I was a single guy for a long time, I’m a decent chef, I know how to cook. I make a nice pasta because I spend time in Italy. I can also make good breakfast food, and I’m great at Thanksgiving dinner.”
Perhaps Clooney could make his Thanksgiving feast this year in England where they recently bought a 10 million pound house on an island in the River Thames at Sonning Eye, west of London. The English countryside seems to agree with him.
“The town has the greatest pub in the world which is something like 200 years old. Amal and I walk from our house over a bridge, through a graveyard and into the pub. It’s fine going there but coming back is a little, eh,” he jokes. “Now we’re in the middle of updating the house and we’re bringing it back to the Georgian style. I have a boat and we ride around and there’s an unbelievably great restaurant nearby called The French Horn. I love it there.”
He’s in Los Angeles to promote the upcoming sci-fi movie, Tomorrowland, about a former boy-genius inventor who embarks on a mission to discover the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in his memory. If Clooney could be transported to a different time and place, where would it be?
“I’ll tell you, there are places I would like to be in the world with Amal that we want to go to that we haven’t gone. Our goal now is to be finding time to travel, not because of work, but because we’d like to see those places. But if I could be anywhere now, it would be she and I on a motorcycle in the middle of the French Alps near a town called Barcellonette which is a Mexican village and it’s unbelievable.”

Thanks Mel and Tulips. Apparently this is where our earlier google translation came from. It makes a lot of things clearer, but I still don't know where the hell they got "vaccinated" from!

we say
"adulto e vaccinato"
(adult and vaccinated) as meaning big boy
one who can care for himself
stand by himself

Thanks for explaining that, It's Me. I LOVE that phrase and I think it's time we introduced it into English. [We say 'big enough and ugly enough']

Re: Finally an In Depth Interview in English
That's a lovely interview and yes I agree that
George now seems content and confident enough
to "wear his heart on his sleeve" and talk a little
about his married life.
Long may it be so.
Does anyone else fancy watching the arm wrestling matches between them ?

Count me in Joanna. I'd like to see that.
George IS wearing his heart on his sleeve. More so than I expected from him. Amal was a game changer for him and I think he welcomes the change.
