Does that mean he will be there?

I am not sure... I want to think he will attend it and be there for her. Christine Baranski, Chris North, Robert and Michelle King, Narciso Rodriguez,... are among the Honoraries.

I hope he attends. Amal can do the National Press Club thing, and George can head to LA for this. This is a big deal for a longtime friend who was there for him at his Golden Globes honor.

This is a big deal for her. I hope he goes - with or without Amal. After all, if there had been someone else playing Carol on ER it might not have worked as well as it did. They might not have the careers they have now.

You're right, Way2Old. She is a long time friend who has been there for him forever, It's time for him to return the favor.

Where did you read it?

It was months ago when this came out so I don´t remember. I will post it if I can find it.

George will be there unless there is some scheduling or logistics conflict that's too difficult to get out of.  He and Julianna have always been supportive of each other.  I'm sure he's been a terrific friend to her. If he can't make it he would speak to her personally to apologize.  And she will understand. But of course we won't know about it.  That's personal between the two of them.
