George Clooney is going to see a pantomime.
The 'Monuments Men' star is said to have purchased tickets for him and his new wife Amal to go see his pal Jerry Hall star in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' at the Richmond Theatre in London.
A source revealed: "George has always wanted to see a panto and this was the obvious one to go to as he's friends with Jerry."
However, Amal - who is a British-Lebanese human rights lawyer - has had to teach her American husband what to expect from the festive show.
The source continued: "Amal has been trying to explain the ins and outs of pantomimes to George, who is fascinated by all the cross dressing and bawdy humor that goes on."
The 53-year-old actor will likely learn some more British Christmas traditions this month as he and Amal will spend the winter at their new home in Sonning-on-Thames, where 36-year-old Amal plans to cook turkey and all the trimmings.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "Amal will be introducing him to the delights of crackers, mince pies, mulled wine and the Queen's speech.
"George is very excited about having a traditional British Christmas."
The silver fox may not be as impressed by his wife's choice of gift, however, as it's reported she's planning on buying him "a pair of slippers".

I would be very suprised if this is not total crap and publicity for  this show.  It can be "said" that I am speding Christmas in Cabo with George and Amal, but that doesn't make it true! And has anyone ever heard that he is friends with Jerry Hall??

Mm, that's what I thought at first, but why would an Ontario paper be publicising a pantomime in Richmond UK?

Maybe the have a 'source' as per early days of the engagement, or maybe it's a piece of 'creative writing'..........

Its an odd story. George has never seen a pantomime? It has to be explained to him? Really?

Who is Jerry Hall?

Amal cooking turkey and all the traditional Brit fixings? I would suspect that the Alamuddins have never celebrated Christmas.

GEORGE Clooney is set to go to his first ever pantomime. Oh yes he is.

The Hollywood star has booked tickets to see Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs to support pal Jerry Hall, who is starring in the festive show.
George, 53, will attend the panto at the Richmond Theatre in London – and his new wife Amal has been teaching him all about what to expect.

Oh that Jerry Hall. "Seems to have legs". HA ha PAN. Jerry does have nice legs as I recall.

Wow no Christmas in Cabo. Things have definitely changed for George. Maybe New Years.

It's the same article in three different venues. If it's correct, that's one true story. If it's bunk, so far it's triple bunk.

Amal may not be a practising muslim or maybe she's not religious at all (?) but I doubt that she has ever celebrated Christmas with her family.

what is a "pantomime?" 

ok, so I just looked up the definition and sorry, just didn't know they did entire musicals/plays to pantomime...obviously I'm out of the loop!  LOL
