The 36-year-old lawyer and fiancee of George Clooney wore a bright orange top with dark green and pink camouflage pants.

George recently was interviewed by Variety to chat about his plight against false tabloid stories about his family, but he quickly talked about Amal as well. “I’m marrying up,” is all he said!

On one hand I can't believe Just Jared is that stupid...maybe they did this on purpose picture a look a like Amal in London to bring the attention away from Italy (wedding place)....Really...what happened here....   Or do I need glasses...

Went to Just Jared re: the photo and article.  Still says it's Amal but comments identify her as Tala, and some of the comments about her and fiance are not all that kind.  You'd think Just Jared would have corrected this by now.

Nicky... Lake Como is quite popular a locale for R & R .  Do we know if this is a recent ( as in the past 4-6 weeks) photo?  Could be an old one of them on vacation.   Then again- in the past 10 years, pretty much everyone has been invited to his digs at one time or another.  Even when he's not there- Viola Davis had her honeymoon there ( a gift from his Nibs)

I hope by he time I wake up tomorrow they corrected it....otherwise I have something to laugh about if they don't get it....

I guess they just saw the outfit (which is similar), the hair (which is similar), the ring ( which is similar), the coffee walk (which is similar) and thought they got it

Did a report say that she didn't know who he was? I seriously doubt that, given his human rights record and contacts. I thought that she didn't have the time to go out with him becos she was too busy

I've noticed that Tara has a similar ring to her sister Amal, except hers appears to a square diamond rather than a rectangular one.
I think that both rings match the sister's hands perfectly
as Tara's fingers are shorter than her sister Amal's
fingers, which are quite long.

Anyone who knows anything about wearing valuable rings knows that it's desirable to consider the balance between the size and shape of the ring to the wearer's
finger length.

No-- I don't think so.  It was one site and does not seem to have  been picked up anywhere else. Kardashians are everywhere! They may actually take over the planet one day.... I actually think after the initial flurry the entertainment press does not find her that interesting until there is something wedding related.

Yeah, I'm sick of and bored with them all, too. Kim and her K sisters, Kate and Pippa, Beyonce and Solange, now Amal and Tala. Do we have to know these people because they've from the same gene pool?

Just my 2 cents.... was at the corner store, cruising through the magazine section... nothing from US/People on the cover, nothing from OK.  Just a photoshopped photo on the cover of some obscure rag with a clearly made up story that George is so excited to get married, that if he had his way, they'd get married tomorrow.  So, at least around here, the bloom is off the rose.  Hell, Keibler got triple the coverage when they were just dating... her walking the dog, her walking, her on a bike, blah blah blah.  At this rate, he could jump off the balcony butt naked and we'd probably be the only ones interested.  Oh yeah, Just Jared would report "John Travolta attempts suicide at Tom Cruise's villa in Greece".

Well Keibler was friends with JJ and she also used to call the paps and let them know where she was going to be, Just like the Kartrashian clan.

George Clooney gets plenty of media coverage, but (and I speak hesitantly here) he doesn't really court it.  Usually he gets spotted when he's in very public places but he can go for over a week without any sightings.  As for Amal, as George Clooney's fiancee, she'll also always be of interested to the paparazzi.

The way the celebrity media work is that they promote 'news' about celebrities who are of interest to their readers because the media need to sell advertising space (and magazines if it's a publication).  It's as simple as that.  If putting Britney Spears shaving her head on the cover of the magazine sells thousands more copies than usual, they'll do it.  If putting a picture of Amal Alamuddin walking down a street holding a coffee gets people clicking on the website, they'll do it.  

And of course the reverse is also true.  If a celeb isn't of interest to the general public, then the celebrity media aren't as interested in writing about them - although the constant need for 'news' and stories to fill space in magazines means even the most boring of z-listers can usually get a mention somewhere.

The paparazzi aren't mind readers though. If you reliably want to be in the gossip rags every week then you need to phone them and tell them where you are, or take your own pictures for them to use or turn up where you know they'll be.  Otherwise you're dependant on the paps tracking you down, which does happen.
