I liked them as a "couple". I thought they looked, and were good together, and maybe they had 10 happy years. Sad for all concerned.

Not sure who they are, she was a host in one travelling program from Spain, which was quite interesting with food tastings & sightseeings, but I´ve never heard from him. Anyways, splits are common. Sadly.
For the kids too. But hopefully at least one of them will be a good parent!

Break-ups can be bad. Divorces are usually sad, and hard on the kids. But "conscious uncouplings"... who the fuck knows?
I take it to mean that this isn't something that just snuck up on them and they drifted too far apart before they could save things. The label they (or possibly some therapist) has tagged the process with makes me think they've made a very deliberate decision to untwine their personal lives because they just no longer work as a team of two people who are supposed to be in love. Two people don't always stay on the same track. It happens. As long as they make sure their kids cope well with it, it doesn't sound like a selfish decision.
... Just a pretentious name for it.

Enty Lawyer posted a string of blind reveals today that were ALL Goopster and Chris Martin related.
Things have been bad for at least two years if you believe his reveals.
