Amal: Like or Dislike?

I dislike her and her mother. There is something about her, she seems to love the spotlight and so does her mother. its all about raising her profile and make her seem important and powerful. Her mother has been posting photos of them and of their home. Quoting how in love AA and GC are in. She is trying to force GC hand into marrying AA, so she is set up for life. No right minded person would post photos of their home, why would you do so, so all of the media can camp on your front lawn or be parked in front of your home? there are so many articles are about the family and about GC & AA all making her look like an angel. I just wish that he wakes up one morning and realises who he is with.

Catwoman - I don't think she's arrogant, but if she's so sure he's going to marry her I do think she's delusional! It's early days yet, and there's always the possibility that after a while she won't be such a novelty and the reality of a permanent relationship won't be any more attractive to him than it has been up to now.

@Lorna -I love you, but please stop! You are so sure they're getting married (and seem so happy about it) you're making me miserable. I can't figure out why I don't trust her, but I don't, so please let's not buy the wedding gifts until we have to.

It never ceases to amaze me how the same pictures can produce such different thoughts - I think the word you may be looking for is determined rather than arrogant - nothing wrong with determination, gets you where you want to be.

I always worry about those big leather bags that ladies use these days. When loaded up they must weigh a lot.
They may well suffer from elbow or shoulder problems in later life.

Tell you what, with the books, lunch boxes, ipads etc in my kids school bags, I will have to become a chiropractor so that I can treat them later in life and my kids are young and only bring 1-2 books to school.

Back to the topic, I like her! She seems to be independent, has a sense of style (some may not like it…), and I think she's very pretty.

She looks a bit different from the initial pics from last year; as others noted, perhaps she lost weight.

Strange feeling I have, but I'm afraid GC will (try to) marry her, and if she can handle his celebrity and her loss of privacy, then I think she's the next Mrs. Clooney.

Here's my two cents worth.

I think that we worry about women, or past GFs, using George. And maybe this is what we are worried about here? But George and Amal share a common interest here. From what Ive read, she is prety knowledgable about their common interest subject (I think it's Syria?). So maybe George has befriended her to gather the information he needs to accomplish his goals in this area. I dont mean to say that George is shallow; I am trying to say that maybe George has befriended her to "pick her brains".

Whatever the case here, George is a big boy, very smart, and am sure that he knows exactly what he is doing

Maybe he'll do it before or around the time SK has her bundle of joy.

quite the opposite,arrogance only brings antipathy to people. And usually the most successful people are the simplest, because arrogance does not match the success, only turns people off.

AA is arrogant because she thinks GC is marrying her, because she thinks it's better than other people.
This is my humble opinion and nobody needs to agree with me.

I find it odd to talk about marriage of two people who just started dating..  ..they are in the early phase of relationship and need time to realize how they feel being together...they cannot be sure of that only on holiday behavior.

I think it's tooooooo early to even mention the M word.
