Unite 4 Humanity : George Clooney attending

Unite 4 Humanity 2014, which will be held on February 27 at the Sony Pictures Entertainment lot, will feature an appearance by former president Bill Clinton and a long list of celebrity attendees including George Clooney, Harrison Ford, Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The program will include the presentation of about a dozen awards, recognising an outstanding peace ambassador, media visionary, most inspiring uplifting TV show and movie, and an honorary award for a young Hollywood star who, according to an official announcement, “has used their voice, presence and efforts to illuminate a philanthropic cause.”

Seventeen charities will benefit from Unite 4 Humanity including the Clinton Foundation, UNICEF, Eva Longoria Foundation, ASPCA, Points of Light and Peace Earth Foundation.

Tickets for Unite 4 Humanity range in price from $500,000 for a benefactor patron package to $500 for a single ticket. There will also be a VIP pre-party with Clinton and an after-party with musical entertainment by Will.i.am and others.

Hollywood Reporter doesn't have George as one of the participants.  


But it IS being held at the Sony Studios Lot in Culver City.  

And the Fame and Philanthropy website link doesn't work from either site.

I also don't think he'll be there becuase he said he wasn't going to the Oscars becuase he would be off filming.

I don't think that George is attending any of these, he won't be in town is what I understood.
