Just a bit of current info on the Hollywood sign.  There is a battle going on with someone who owns some land near it and the community.

The landowner has a vineyard on land near the sign but now wants to build an estate on the land.  They locals are upset because they say the vineyard is already producing runoff that has caused damage to their properties which lie below the sign.
