Me too Silly girl - I used to do rock climbing many years ago but the highest I climbed up was around 60 meters, now that I have vertigo I cant even climb steps without falling over - funny how things change.

Ah, maybe having children has done that. Same sort of thing happened to me with flying. I thought it might be a sort of self protection thing as well as a protective thing. Responsibilities and all that.........

You know looking over them I cannot pick a favorite they are all wonderful. When I look at pictures like this I think how can you not believe. My all time favorite are sunsets. Thank you so much Theminis for posting them.

I agree about the first one. I love heights, but dont think I could walk along that path. Sometimes I triop when I walk, and that would not be a good thing on that pathway! Would love to play in that clear water in image #2. I think I'm half fish

The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction.

The apostles were formed by erosion: the harsh weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually eroded the soft limestone to form caves in the cliffs, which then became arches, which in turn collapsed; leaving rock stacks up to 45 metres high.

There are no longer 12, as many have collapsed, there are only 8 left.

When we first came to Australia when I was 6, my Dad took me there and told me I was standing on the edge of Australia, so we did the same with our 3, they loved it and have been telling everyone that they have stood on the edge of Australia.

As far as Im aware, Iceland and Greece and real photos. Iceland is a photo of icebergs on Black Beach. Greece photo I cropped its a bi larger and you can see its taken from a distance. The Alaskan one is meant to be some sort of aurora borealis I think, may be real.

We went there about a month ago but almost every day they talk about how exciting it was to stand on the edge (even my 3 year old has told all his daycare friends), they keep asking when can we go back - its wonderful to pass on the same memories and see them experience it as I did.

Ok now I need to go to Wales....I actually was in Wales once....I was on a bus tour of England. Our tour bus guide took us on an excursion (not part of the schedule) into Wales for the evening....mostly shopping (which means the driver and guide probably got a kick back) ---but it was nice we went to a bar and I had a hard cider ---which I didn't know would be so potent. Anyway while nice it didn't look like Joanna's photos....which are so beautiful...adding to the list....

Like your photos too theminis....want to go there too.... Very Happy
