Indeed, always those same trees, the kiekeboetrees. New word alert !Joanna wrote:Personally thinking, the pictures look very carefully choreographed amongst the trees.

I was looking at pictures of the house and it is sad that he has a beautiful view of the ocean but has to block it with plants for privacy.

Yay finally a sighting of George in his usual promotional Tshirt looking might fine in one of his favourite places - sunny Mexico....

I think the pictures are from the little resort bar area, not specifically George's house. It seems like they congregate there once or twice during their trips, seemingly to give the photographers a few shots in the hopes they'll have the rest of the trip to themselves.
And I don't begrudge him wearing a promotional t-shirt when he knows he's going to be photographed. Why not get a little benefit out of having your vacation disrupted? Remember when we used to complain about him always wearing the same t-shirt? At least now there's a little variety, even though they all say Casamigos on them

Your right they are probably at the bar, if you look at the pictures from Architectural digest you can see the trees in front of the pool blocking the view.

Yes. And not always "relevant" ones.
Yes I discuss his love life too. Never denied that. But if you really look back thread after thread you'll notice you comment on his love life or love in general in many threads.
You may not want to acknowledge it but it's me's comment just a few minutes ago in a different thread shows that others are noticing it too.
You do make comments on other topics but often you pull an unrelated topic into a discussion about either his love life or loving relationships in general when in fact it's clear that you're discussing George's love life again.
Just an observation based on having to go into almost all threads on a regular basis.
And please, no indignant comments about how as a "MOD" I shouldn't be making these comments.
I'm a forum participant too and just as many of you like to state you have the free will and free speech right to make your comments so do I.
Some of the indignation I get for making a comment "as a mod" which in reality is a veiled attempt to censor me (which many of you get your backs in a twist if anyone tries to censor you) is just irritating.
So yes Ocean, you spend a lot of time discussing George's love life.
Here's an example from the Arch. Digest thread:
@Ocean I am sorry to say I have to strongly agree with Lorna on this. I have commented about it myself sometimes I have to look up to see which thread that I'm in. (CRS) They can get very similar. When you say something is so you don't want anyone to disagree with you. We must all play nice together and get along.
Ocean wrote:Almost every thread?! Only relevant ones...where discussions emerge.
I participate in a broad spectrum of topics, including films, news, music & humanitarian involvement.
You also write extensively about his "love life."
ZOOM may work for others with iPads/ iPhones.
They can see the basic analytical comparison.
I stated it looks like Amal. Not that he's dating her.
Surely he invites friends there too....

As long as there are no tsunamis or sharks.
Hope Clooney finds true love one day to share his life & home together...

Look, this is how Ocean feels, if you don't want to read it then scroll past quicker.
We ALL get repetitive.... myself more than most.
I am fully aware that there are ppl who don't like my posts ... but I do them just the same .... I get a bizarre kick out of doing it, despite them! "It's the old F*** the begrudger's" thing with me.
To be totally honest I disliked one posters "tone" to such a degree I "foed" her.
At the end of the day, we walk this way only once, so far NOBODY on COH has left me bruised or bleeding .... It's a tough world, make the best of it......x
Mod's you do a good job ... mostly ...

WWHS - No-one is saying that they don't wish to read Oceans posts - but I think the point that is clearly being made is that there are already threads on which to discuss or speculate about his life love or lack thereof, so there is no need to subtly or blatantly redirect a conversation towards Georges love life -
The fact that you say you get a bizarre kick out of knowing your posts displease a few posters is quite obnoxious

But theminis... that's "free speech".....
I don't have Hubs or Bubs but really enjoy reading your threads, love hearing from down under, a place I love hearing about your food, food I love (rundown on Christmas grub in chit chat had me salivating)... now, not everyone may feel that way... but you are not being "obnoxious" by your posting... you simply carry on, as I do.....
So please don't stop...and neither will I.
I am sorry if you think I am being "obnoxious".
If you can dig up a post where I have hurt or offended someone, I will happily apologise.
It's just that as you can see... not everyone get's me.......and I am painfully aware of the fact, and the confirmation.

@Mazy & Lorna Doone - I think you "MODS" do a great job trying to keep us all on track and to keep the tone of the site fairly civil. We're getting ready to start a new year, so maybe we should all take a moment to remember why we come to this site in the first place - we're all George's fans.
Hopefully he's having a great time in Mexico( whoever he's with), and we can have fun talking about him without making enemies of each other.

Re: George Clooney in Mexico
We all KNOW that George holidays with a large group of people, never alone. To jump to the conclusion that this is his girlfriend, simply because he's standing next to her is a bit of a reach.
I'm just happy to see pictures of George relaxed and smiling along with a group of people he seems happy to be with.

Re: George Clooney in Mexico
This is why I stopped posting. Once in awhile I come on to read and always find some people fighting about the same old thing. You all have to stop putting George on a pedestal. He definitely has many flaws and actually doesn't look as good as he use to. He is not aging well. There are men in their 50s, who work out at my gym who look better than he does. Everybody needs to get a life here.
