Gravity Beats The Hunger Games & Iron Man As MTV Crown Sci-fi Best Movie Of 2013
It became an instant blockbuster following its October release so there's little surprise that Gravity has been named the best movie of 2013 by MTV.
The sci-fi flick starring Hollywood duo George Clooney and Sandra Bullock follows two astronauts on a gripping voyage through space as they try to survive the destruction of a space shuttle.

Gravity has been tipped for Oscar glory next year and is already shortlisted for an Oscar nomination for its visual effects - not add it took $56 million at US cinemas on its opening weekend.
According to MTV, Gravity was chosen for the top spot because "filmmakers spent four years creating the film".
While adding another factor that helped the film top the list was because "James Cameron called it the best space movie ever made."
Here's the full list of MTV's best movies:
This Is The End
The Wolf Of Wall Street
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Iron Man 3
12 Years A Slave
American Hustle
Spring Breakers
World War Z
The World’s End
