What was it Warren Buffet said on October 3rd?
'We will go to the point of extreme idiocy, but we will not cross the line' (possibly paraphrasing here - if I have, very sorry)

One last thing. Well, two.
While families lost paychecks and companies lost productivity during the unnecessary shutdown debacle, Sen. Ted Cruz' political action committee has raised nearly a million dollars since his scenery-chewing filibuster. If that doesn't sound like a lot to you, compare it to the $300K it raised in the full quarter before the filibuster.
And if you have some spare reading time, dig up the Republican healthcare reform plan that was put forth way back when, during the fight over Hillary Clinton's proposals when Bill was President. The Republican plan reads like the blueprint for what is now derided as "Obamacare." Then read about how "Romneycare" works. It's well-considered legislation when the Republicans do it or propose it, but a "trainwreck" or "disaster" when the President and Democrats do it.
Further proof that these Republicans are lying, selfish, self-promoting hypocrites set on carrying out personal vendettas at the expense of the public's safety and security.
That's all from this corner... until January 15th, 2015 or thereabouts.
