Just for the record I didn't mean to suggest I didn't think he was happy. I think he's doing just exactly what he wants to do. We've just talked here several times about how still pics and video of the same event can tell such a different story and this is a good example. I think if we hadn't seen the pics of him laughing first we would be reading the video differently. I would love to see the whole video instead of a small portion edited to show probably what the purchaser wanted it to.

He probably things to much about his MM film. In his head he is still working even though he is for lunch with friends. He needs to relax more  

To me the video just looks like he is reading the menu and not unhappy or anything.

To be honest, I think this year is one of his busier, and it is requiring a great deal from him. His Monuments Men film is probably, from my best guess, the biggest film he has ever tried to make. I THINK SO, anyway, and I would bet that is putting lots of pressure on him to get it right.

I wonder what his aim and goal is now. Is it primarily to still make movies and tell stories or is it to win another Oscar? I have seen him act like he is not that enthusiastic about winning awards, but he sure does aim for Oscar season.

I see from these photos that he does get out some, but I do think his mind has been work centered more this year, and he may have inadvertently pushed Stacy away or purposely pushed her away to get himself more focused. We'll see, but ironically we speculate, but it really isn't any of our business. We, yes I include myself, are just nosey people. Not just us fans, but everyone. Inquiring minds want to know.

I have decided to make a children's puppet movie and put directing into my career titles now as well as acting. it's a short film i am submitting into the new York children's film festival which also falls on my birthday next year as well!

I have limited experience in writing, directing, shooting, editing and finally, marketing a documentary film. I paid everything, and we made it in 4 different countries. Boy, it is not easy! But with the luck and God knows what else, it was distributed 38 countries (could be more, because it was even in Azerbaidžan news!). Success, but not financially. I know this is a worn out expression but " I learned a lot from this experience".  

TV channel wanted to hire me as their photographer, which is funny, because I know nothing about cameras etc. I always use automatic settings, aim and shoot. I did one documentary for them, but half-heartedly, because it was not "my thing".

I think as well that he is eager for another Oscar. I guess that's the only thing which makes him proud and confirmed in his job/life. I mean he has no wife or kids he can be proud of. Don't mean it in a bad way. I guess another Oscar would make him feel good the way he lives with all the different girlfriends ect as he makes it right in his career.

I hope he gets another Oscar. Well, he can make a shit movie and I still hope he gets an Oscar. I love everything he does LOL

IMPO, I think George is generally a really happy go lucky kind of guy and he always looks like that, unless something in particular (usually with his work) is troubling him. I don't think he's necessarily elated that another relationship has ended, one way or the other. I think he's just a happy guy. And Stacy didn't hold him hostage or in bondage...he's always been a "free man"! LOL Why all the crepe hanging? Very odd!
