How and where is George Clooney going to celebrate his birthday?

His birthday's on Monday, so, how's he going to celebrate? Give me some ideas and I'll make a poll.

Boringly, I'm pretty sure he'll have a quiet dinner on Sunday and then back to work on Monday as usual, but I'm open to more interesting ideas!

I'm with you Katie....although the crew could get him a cake and sing to him.... with Bill Murray in the lead.

I think he's going to spend it at Soho House in the tub with that 25 something cocktail waitress he met at The Grill. At least it would be different!

Party at Como - huge big party

Nah, he doesn't seem to really care about his own B-days. He didn't even do a big one for the big 5-0. Bet he works...

Yeah he doesn't make a fuss, still he did go out to a nice restaurant with many people and got papped, he could've stayed home - my money is still on Como

for a Birthday Picnic in the beautiful grounds.

I think dinner on Saturday in Germany with Stacy. She has to be in New York by Monday. Monday birthday dinner with the cast ,

I think George will work on his birthday, maybe a dinner on Sunday.

He will work and then go out with the crew for dinner and drinks. And I don't think Stacy was able to fit a trip in to see him so, no, booty call for his birthday this year! Poor George!

May is filled with birthdays

Nick's writes about the many family birthdays in the month of May. Here's what he has to say about George's recent birthday.

Our son George's birthday is only four days later on May 6th.
He is buried in work, so it wasn't possible for us to throw him a party. Also, I was scheduled to deliver the commencement address at the University of Kentucky on the 6th, so Nina and I flew to North Carolina, to his film location, so we could have a scaled-down celebration.
This has been one of the longest "shoots" of George's career.
He and his crew have been in the Carolinas since the middle of January, and it isn't over yet. He will still be filming for another week or two.
Perhaps some of you have heard about this movie.
It is called "Leatherheads" and deals with the earliest days of the National Football League. This latest version was written by George, and he is also the director and the star, which accounts for
his 14-hour days. His co-star is Renee Zellweger.
It's a great story from the days when college football ruled the roost and savvy promoters stole college stars, like Jim Thorpe and Red Grange, and jump-started the pro game.
You should see George in a 1920s football outfit after experts cake real mud all ever him. Quite a sight.

We pulled him away and cleaned him up for a birthday dinner at a nice restaurant in Winston-Salem. Like Ada's gathering, there were many laughs and much fun.

thanks, Jo, for that interview article. Sounds about right. I don't think George really makes a big deal out of his birthday. I don't know a lot of guys that do.

He's getting to the age where he's hoping people will forget his birthday!

He's got a long way to go, today 52 is not old for a man. It looks like he has a lot of projects lined up. He'll keep himself young by working and staying busy, it's like he has an inner drive.
