George Clooney totes a large carry on through his terminal at LAX Airport on Sunday (January in Los Angeles. The 50-year-old actor was joined at the airport by his girlfriend Stacy Keibler.

George has his next film project all lined up! He is adapting the book “The Monuments Men” for the screen, where he will serve as the director - and possible head up the cast.

“I’m really interested in telling the story of how these very unlikely heroes went miles deep into a mine and found all the art and returned it,” George told E! of the true story of art experts who search for priceless works that were stolen by Nazi’s during World War II.

I noticed on Just Jared airport pics George and Stacy are bundled up as if they're going to Alaska instead of New York for GMA.

ABC's Good Morning America is Channel 7 here on the east coast and the weather is sunny, temps in 40's. I won't see it on TV because 7 a.m. is too early for me to contemplate anything other than where the coffee pot is. LOL Hope I can see it posted.

I'll try to watch it and report what I hear. With my CRS, I'll have to take notes...

Cindigirl, don't feel bad, I got up at 5:30am, so I'd be awake to see GMA, fell asleep and missed it.

LOL Hey that's what I do so I gave up getting up early. I'm sure someone will watch it. Yes I noticed how bundled up Stacy was compared to George. I guess she is expecting a very chilly time in NY. George is going to be busy so we should be getting lots of stuff over the next couple of days.

8:00 am - Am writing this while watching George. Looks great Charcoal suit with striped shirt, open neck. Just gorgeous, wonderful smile. Sitting at desk with guys while news is done. Interview to come. Will report back when it finally happens. By the way, he is in good form with the quips. Outside now, signing autographs for fans.

Adapting the book should give him some "down time", possibly while he recouperates from his back/neck surgery. We know his mind will be going full force even if his body is not, so would be a perfect time.

He was good.....nothing we haven't heard before but I think most people don't follow him like we do. Nice way to start a morning.....

8:14 am - Here we go. I know some complain about his hair, too short, too grey, but I've got to tell you I think he is absolutely delicious. I love his hair just as it is right now. Interspersing talk with pictures from TD. Watching his words - used ticked off instead of usual pissed off. Talking about Einstein right now. Did the meatball story, but didn't call him a foodwhore. He was relaxed, at ease and very secure. No GF questions at all. Hope you all get to see it.

I started watching GMA at 7:00 - after about 150 commercial breaks, George came on about 8:15. He looked tired, complained about having to get up early, wore his favorite striped shirt and told the Einstein meatball story in his usual good humor. The ladies at the station were all standing around looking starstruck and the audience outside the studio were all waving, with their faces pressed to the glass. Good fun for New Yorkers. LOL

saw him on Rock Center last night. was disappointed that they only gave him 5 minutes to talk. Glad though that the interview was focused on him and his work. Have to say that his voice is soooooo dreamy. Could listen to hi all day. 5 minutes does not do this man justice with all the amazing things he does.

Cindigirl, I couldn't believe it was sitting at my kitchen table having a cup of coffee and who pops into my kitchen but GTC. Liked the interview, yes he repeated the turkeyball story,but it's the interviewer asking the same questions. How many answers can he come up with for the same questions, and if he changed his answers he'd get called out on that. The only time I heard him repeating himself was when he brought up his father running for congress. The rest of his responses we may have heard before but they were answers to a question.

See lucy it's true, they keep asking him the same questions. Poor guy. I started watching GMA on my tv in the bedroom, my cat jumped on my remote, short circuited the tv, had to run for kitchen tv but caught George just in time for him to tell the meatball story. LOL

He looked tired but answered questions with his usualy grace.

If he'd be a bit smart, he could talk about other subjects ! Somebody needs to kick his ass !

Doing a interview can't be easy, how much control do you have? I've seen some that are boring, awkward, smooth,interesting,uncomfortable, whatever. But it must be hard to get your point across in such a short time without leaving a bad impression. Most of the time he does a good job of it.

I thought he did a great job! Love the Einstein story! I can listen to that all day! Well... maybe not all day but I love to hear his voice!

Is there anybody who can post the Good Morning America interview here? I tried to pick up the video from the GMA site and it said I had to install Adobe Flasher and my dang computer won't let me.

If you could give us the link to the site then that would make it easier for us.
