I don't think there is too much seriousness behind any of that. But, of the characters on Full House, I would slot GC in the Uncle Jesse slot.

Not a bad joke - just a bit of fun by Stamos.

No. I don't think so. I just think John is being silly. Then again, maybe there is rumor of a Full House film. Who knows. I just thought it was cool that he would mention GC as Uncle Jessie.

It's Me, John Stamos was on Full House which ended in 1995. He's joking about a Full House movie remake using the top leading male actors in the parts that he and the two other men were in. He is only a couple years younger than George.

it's me - Full House was a very popular comedy television show here in the US from the late 1980s to mid-1990's.
It was about a man with 3 daughters (one daughter who was a baby when the show started was played by the Olson twins) who was raising them on his own - but with help with his brother and a friend. I think he was a widower?
John Stamos played the father's brother (hence Uncle Jesse) who was a really good-looking, often sweet and but often self-deprecating ladies man who played in a band.
What's interesting about his character (and John in real life) was how close he was to the girls - especially the Olson twins. You could tell he felt as if they were his own daughters and his long time relationship with the children on the show was just so sweet and heart-warming.
So for John to think of George as a potential actor to play that part in a movie is really a nice compliment to George. John's character was a heart-throb for women but he also fell in love on the show and married a lovely gal and had some twins of his own on the show.
IMO - John thinking of George for that movie roll (not that George would necessarily do it) was nice.
Here's the IMDB link to the Full House info page.
