As I said above, this production company may be the only one in the area, so perhaps there really isn't a choice to work with them or not, so therefore he may have no other options; other than to rewrite the script regarding whatever was required to be shot there and that could be detremental to the flow of the film.

Well just wondering based on the heated conversation - will this topic get any updates should he be filming? Or are we going to back away from this?

I personally won't see anything that Polanski makes (exception was that one film about the writer who got involved with some British government official - only because I was at a friends house for dinner and they put the movie on - didn't realize it was his film till the end cause I missed the opening credits) but I think he's is not the only celebrity to have sex with underage children. He's just the one that got caught.

His raping her and then fleeing tells you a lot about him. He's not only a pedophile he's also a coward. But I'll bet there are a hell of a lot of sick people working in Hollywood that have never been caught at what they've been doing.

That being said, I don't think you can fault George for working with the studio if they are the only game in town. And I think the story is important to tell so what should he do? If he did that he wouldn't be able to work with any studio cause they've ALL produced films with members of their community that I'm sure have as bad or worse members working in the business.
