Sherman Hemsley & Chad Everett died today 7/24/12

Two men so totally different but who both entertained me immensely as a child.

Chad Everett was so handsome and debonair - and I never missed Medical Center! Wow, if only my real doctors had looked like that!

And Sherman Hemsley made me laugh all the time while watching him on The Jeffersons. I loved that show as a kid!

My thoughts and prayers go out to both their families. RIP

loved so much The Jeffersons!!!

I had the BIGGEST crush on Chad Everett who played the doctor in Medical Center. He and his wife were married for 45 years. Something of an enigma in Hollywood. I knew there was something I liked about him.

I thought that Chad Everett was cool (I did not have a crush on him, but I thought he was a cool guy). I thought Sherman Helmsley was a funny guy, and I watched "The Jeffersons" on Saturday nights when I was a kid.

Chad Everett had the most beautiful eyes. I remember watching Medical Center as a kid. I recently bought the first season dvds and it is still a great show. some of the doctors I work with could take lessons from Dr. Gannon on good bedside manners. lol.
Sherman Hemsley will always be George Jefferson to me. Loved that show. The theme song has been stuck in my head all day! Loved George and his 'weezy.'

I think that's what I loved about him. Nice eyes and a good bedside manner. Doesn't get any better than that!

ON GMA today, the correspondents all were singing the Jefferson's theme song. I sang along as I ate my breakfast.
