I agree, Hathaross......so SWWWEEEEEEEEETTTTT, and clearly illustrates the serendipity of "Unconditional Love," because you know Einstein didn't secretly work Lightsabre fight George over to demand affection and attention, he just goes with the flow..... Zen

Post by bellybaby Wed 13 Jun 2012, 13:53

So he brought Eins with him? I wondered if he would leave him in LA that long, or bring him - though that would be a long flight, no?

And why do we all think that this show of affection is so nice? Because it's genuine. For me, this is something that I've never seen him display to a GF, and why IMO, people as a whole, have difficulty believing that his "relationships" are more than a contractual obligation...

Post by Lighterside Wed 13 Jun 2012, 15:26

@ bellybaby but wouldn't we feel a little silly talking about his PDA with his dog in a negative way? Anytime we see anyone hugging an animal in a loving way our first response is "awe how cute"...

And yet when we see him with a woman, some people go batsh*t crazy, hurling insults and usually someone makes a mountain out of a mole hill in the process and starts a big bruhaha on the board. Maybe that's why George stopped showing any affection toward his dates in public.

Isn't it funny how different the responses are depending upon whom George is hugging! LOL

Lelacorb,
Thanks so very much for posting these loving pics. Just wish G wasn't covering his beautiful, expressive eyes with sunnies, so that we could see how truly happy he is cuddling Eins Clooney. One day hope to see similar pics with an appreciative, affectionate girl. And is someone special reading this board? Remember when I asked if Eins Clooney was going to get a very special vacay in the fresh air?

I think it was then. You see pics of him and Celine and they looked happy together, close, loving. And I mean they looked that way in most of their pictures together, not just very occasional ones.

He's not had that with a girlfriend since then.

It can't be that he's had an entire personality change, nor that he's been unable to meet a single woman in over 10 years who he cares about so I agree with Watching that it's something he's changed deliberately. Why? That I don't know.

I have to disagree, we have seen plenty of pictures of him with his various gals since Celine and he looks happy and is affectionate towards them in public. There was PDA with both Sarah and Eli and at times he looked genuinely happy with both. Yet to see it with Stacy, but this whole relationship with her seems different in so many ways. If he was truly unhappy with the women he was with and there was no agreement in place, he would kick them to the curb.

Post by silly girl Wed 13 Jun 2012, 20:38

I tend to agree with TNMC at least in the beginning of the relationships with SL and EC. At the end not so much....at the end of EC the back stiffening was there as was the not looking at her. I just think it was funny to see the dinner photos with CC and RG where he was so warm to RG but barely attentive to SK....I know we weren't there so didn't see all their interactions but it seemed strange to me. The warmth he shows Einstein in these photos does seem more natural. Looking at the photos on the boat ---if we didn't know who they were I would have almost thought GC could have been with BW wife or SK...does that make sense. Look I don't think we will ever get it...but that is probably what he wants anyway....

Back to the topic...he does look cute with the dog...

I think George looks more natural smiling with Einstein. If you're holding your pet dog how can you not smile? At first on the boat pictures I thought he looked so serious, almost ashamed, of being caught with her because of the paps but the Einstein picture tells me different because I'm assuming he was aware of the paps at the airport. So I'm saying his true love is Einstein.

Ooops! So sorry, credited Watching with the wrong post!

The next mrs clooney wrote: we have seen plenty of pictures of him with his various gals since Celine and he looks happy and is affectionate towards them in public.
Yes, but nothing like the way it was with Celine. When he was dating her, just about every public appearance of them together they looked together. We didn't have to search through piles of pictures to find the occasional ones that showed them in a good light. That's the difference.

I'm not saying that there's never any PDAs with current girlfriends but I am saying that it's infrequent and often questioned by fans. You said it yourself: "at times he looked genuinely happy with both". Only at times, not on a regular basis.

The next mrs clooney wrote: If he was truly unhappy with the women he was with and there was no agreement in place, he would kick them to the curb.
I totally agree with that. That's why I think he's changed his behaviour (in public at least - the few pics we have of him more or less in private with Elisabetta for example on the boat, or dancing show a different side).

Contrary to the wild imaginings of conspiracy theorists, he's not forced against his will to date his girlfriends and I don't believe they're bearding for him, so he's with whoever he's with because he wants to be.

When George says that his "private life is private" maybe what he is really talking about or thinking is that his "feelings or emotions are private" and that is why we don't see a lot of PDA in public.

I agree with you everything he does is cause for talk and that can't be easy for him or the woman involved. I think he doesn't want to feed the madness.

Einstein is tweeting away -- some serious tweets; some fun[sounds like SK might snore :-) ] ; some in Italian telling us that "she" has promised to make a game this morning; Business Week article about lack of water for refugees in South Sudan -- amazing dichotomy between our frivolous pursuits here on COH and what is going on in Sudan.

George and Einstein: a love story Empty Re: George and Einstein: a love story

Has someone copied me in giving Eins the last name of "Clooney?" Does SK OR G snore? There are now easy corrections for snoring. And does that mean that Eins Clooney sleeps with SK or G or both? Inquiring minds want to know. Glad that "whoever" helps Eins Clooney with his tweets discusses Sudan. I'm sure that G sometimes feels helpless in how to solve the crises.

Einstein has definitely had a snooze. Some of the Sudan news has been on the Not on Out Watch site for a little while. Maybe he was busy chasing a ball

George always says he does not speak to reporters about his private life because if he spoke no longer private, and here we all agree! What I do not understand is why with Stacy behaves like a tree trunk, stiff and expressionless or even angry, do not ever touched by the hand and when a child seems driven by his mother because he makes a tantrum! If he seemed serene beside her I would stop having so many doubts that I am hurt but they are inevitable!

I agree, it's not so much about the lack of PDA with Stacy but it's about how unhappy George always looks when he is with her. Think of his smile when he is with his friends or when he was at the WHCD alone, he looked truly happy. Have seen this with other girls but so far not with Stacy that's what makes this whole relationship seem strange.

Party Animal,
Different people read Eins Clooney's tweets than those that follow Sudan. Hard to learn about tragedy and feel so powerless; so easier to enjoy a laugh at the same time. Poor dog can't fully enjoy his luxury vacay, if his sleep is disturbed by heavy snoring from someone.

Ever notice "normal" couples? Even if they are from more conservative backgrounds or cultures, and think that even holding hands is not acceptable when in public, if happy together they still maintain constant eye contact. Why have the paps never shown G smiling at SK, at least for a moment, or SK watching G when he is not looking? As I've said before, even if I'm out with male platonic friends everyone around us can see that we're together. because they look protectively at me.
