BANJA LUKA -- A Banja Luka-based daily writes that Hollywood star George Cooney recently commented on his alleged resemblance with Boris Tadić.

(novosti.rs)Nezavisne Novine's website carried an interview with American businessman of Serb origin Dan Tana - born Dobrivoje Tanasijević - who recently hosted Clooney in his Los Angeles restaurant.

The issue of the actor's resemblance with Tadić came up in the conversation.

"I asked George Clooney if he knew that Serbian President Boris Tadić looked a lot like him. He had a good laugh and said that Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi asked him the same question on several occasions. I will tell you verbatim what Clooney told me about Tadić: 'Tadić is more attractive, but I'm a better actor'," the newspaper quoted Tana.

The businesman further said that he was "astonished when Clooney said he had met with Tadić and shook hands with him":

"I don't know when that took place. I guess it could have happened in Italy or America. Clooney is active in politics and popular among politians in the U.S. He's always organzing humanitarian dinners and collecting funds to help those endangered across the world."

"Clooney told me that none of his encounters with Berlusconi went by without the Italian comparing him to Tadić. He definitely finds it nice to have a doppelganger among politicians," concluded Tana.
