I´ve visited Auschwitz, both camps.

Couple of things: The scale of the camp at Auschwitz Birkenau.
It must have been massive.

There was a railway line running alongside the road and you knew that the railway line was still leading to the camp.

It was bizarrely quiet.

And there was a hamburger joint right across the street from main entrance. (when I was there and in the area, Kraków.)

Polish people made openly rude comments to me visiting there. Anti-Semitism well and alive. Sad but true. Especially I remember one old woman laughing at me and asking me to take a picture of her cow “ because it´s alive” she would caw, and make ugly gestures toward the camp. (I had a polish composer/ author with me, translating what town people said.)

And just for the reminder, hitler is called evil, sure, but he didn´t act alone. No one stopped him. He took his own life in a bunker in Berlin. I think this tells a lot about other people too, not just him.

Well, Hitler was the most horrendously evil man in the history of the world, but he did not act alone, and, he took his own life, because he knew what would happen to him if the Russians captured him. That alone tells you what kind of character he had. Those Nazis who supported him and his evil plan were just as guilty and accountable as he was. I have no respect at all for Adolf Hitler and his Nazi buddies. They all suck rotten eggs, and, as far as I am concerned, they can all va , and kiss my .

this is not a gateway to any feelings or anything, just heard it from the radio. Going home to sleep. Yes, I was up last night doing something you need to be good with numbers. Not my strongest side: numeracy. Long hours, stressful workload... very boring, but I found interesting term escape velocity. I like it.

So this is 1000 post. Time to stop posting chitty chatty or crybaby whiny-arsed opinions (in case someone is wondering where bic disappeared).

Not so easy, next week is going to be the toughest, normal routines at home and work, but no posting (in COH I mean). What I´m going to do (instead of coming to COH to worship CG) is to read Le petit larousse Illustré 2013. (it has 1934 pages so should be enough for one week, even if I had repetitive relapses and constant urge to post).

Probably have to check emails & accidently answer the unknown numbers. So glad I have learned to start every cell conversation with 'my phone's about to die' so they don't waste my time…

After that, next two weeks easy. Going on a holiday.

When people say they are going away, watch over our house, cars, cats or something – it´s so annoying. Where are they going? I want to know!

No need to be mysterious, first I`ll go to Gstaad and next week Zermatt. I´ll be back home in the beginning of March.

I always think it's a strange thing to do, especially if they have no way of contacting the owner if disaster strikes anyway.

I had a couple house-sitting jobs (also took care of the doggies and kitties) that I just loved doing! They had nicer places than I had EVER lived in and I was able to be surrounded by the pets too. Had full use of the washer and drier (NO laundromat that week for me), full fridge and pantry, AND got paid $100. Not so bad for a week living in luxury!!
