Man his hair seemed to have a life of it's own. Talk about big. I think he looked way better as he aged!

I don't care what anybody says!!! I LOVE them ALL!!!! Even the bad haircut with the glasses!!!!

I love all the ages of George....I love young 80's George with the long hair because I was young in the 80's! And I love ER years George and nowadays George...I don't like really really short hair or the beard but I could put up with them if I had too LOL

I also love me some George at any age, but the mid-thirties to now are my favs.

Haha! That's one of the very few pics I've seen of George with a cigarette in his mouth. Where on earth is it from??

From one of his many pilot TV series Sisters...he was a detective would you believe LOL....These are all from George Clooney The Illustrated Biography...best book for piccies IMO.

Merlin I thought that in the last 4 years I had seen ever pic of GC, guess not.

Yes, Sis the one with Elliot Gould....George was called Ace....I think it was his own leather jacket because he seemed to wear it for a few years later....That was the first time I noticed him but it was only on a couple of times and I forgot about him until I saw him in Roseanne....and then ER....

@ Lucy I have about six GC biographies and this is the best for photies if you were thinking of buying one....

Clooney didn't even register for me until the 2000s. Looking at these pics, I am beginning to understand why. He really was a late starter.

Yep that's the same for me too Caged. Didn't even notice him until 2003! Hahaha

I remember once sitting and having tea with a one of my girlfriends when I still lived in LA and we were discusing who would be her next victim....I mean, boyfriend and Facts of Life came on and I pointed to George and said, "what about him he's kinda cute?" and she replied, "nah...too young and waaay too much hair!" LOL THAT happened in the 80's...when he looked like his hair took over.

For me GC didn't really have an effect until 2005 by then he had aged well.

He had me a loooooooooooooooong time ago!

Well, not HAD me had me, but well, you know...

Six biographies, wow, ..., some hot spots.

George has gotten better looking over time. I noticed him in the late 90's. I used to watch facts of life and Roseanne and I was surprised he had been in those shows, I have never noticed him in those at all!

When I researched George near the end of 2004 I didnt even know what he looked like. I just knew that there was this actor who wouldnt let a director belittle other actors, and I thought that this would be a great person for me to meet to learn the ropes in Hollywood. I had no idea of what he had done, what he was about. He's so far out of my league that learning the ropes from this guy is like flying to another galaxy in order to meet him! And I dont have a spacecraft that can fly there!!

I am one year younger than George, and that was considered a "cool" haircut back in the late 1970's. This was considered a "unisex" haircut, so both guys and girls wore it like that, similar to the mullet haircut in the early-mid 1980's.

The picture of George in the blue shirt is from his 1987 appearance on "The Golden Girls," where he played Detective Bobby Hopkins. He was 26 years old there.
