Sounds like a great lineup. George will probably love sharing time with Viola since they go way back.  Wonder if they will be indulging in holiday spirits during the show.  Hasn’t Norton usually allowed drinking on his show?

Donnamarie -I don't think Graham Norton allows drinking on his show - I think he encourages it! I haven't watched for a while though, so I don't know if the pandemic's changed that. With these guests I don't think it really matters - they're all really great fun even without the booze (and I know MB has sworn off until the New Year).

will socialise with one while on Zoom we'll have to wait to find out...definitely something I've

done - needed just to get through the technology bit!

George was also on Stephen Colbert last night.

And they're back in London where they had planned a drive-in premiere of the film. Bu now, this whole area is in Tier 3 lockdown

PAN - Thanks. I caught the tail end of him on Colbert last night and Graham Norton's YouTube channel has a couple of clips of him and Viola Davis from the show. No B&B clips, though! (Have you heard their Christmas album? It's terrific! Just perfect for the holidays  - and most of it's online, so you can listen without buying . What can I say? I'm cheap! )

What does Tier 3 lockdown involve for you? Here we're using red, orange and yellow zones but it's confusing because things change so often. The changes in school openings and closings alone are making people crazy. If I were still teaching I think I'd be driven to drink!

So George and the family were in Hawaii now they are back in England. They must be happy to be back .

The full show will be released soon, I'm sure of it. It was great fun.

Mm, George obviously did both shows in Sonning and because the film studios where he made

The Midnight Sky are literally up the road, I imagine that's where he wanted some sort  of

premiere.

As he said on Colbert this area was on Tier 3 of lockdown when he landed - until today. The whole area is now in

Tier 4, because the number of cases has gone up because there's is now a new variant of the

bug which they've discovered is more virulent.  So we can all do even less and definitely not

travel between relatives over Christmas.

The schools have been seriously affected by this and a friend from one told me that for the last

two weeks the local school she works in has only had the children of essential workers in to

teach as so many children are being infected. Here if that happens the class does not come into

school

but changes to online learning..

Very relieved it is all taken seriously here........but Christmas is out

I can't believe I missed this! I've been watching TGNS every week but then gave up in December as it just wasn't as funny as it used to be. And now George was bloody on it, wasn't he?! Huh!

I couldn’t make out who Vanessa was on the show.  The lady with the ponytail.  She was on The Crown?  I couldn’t see her face that well.  Who is she and what part did she play?

Yes Vanessa was on the crown season 1 (I believe) and she played Princess Margaret. I must admit her performance was absolutely perfect no wonder Amal loved it too.

Thanks Lilla!  I went online to check her out and now I remember her from Seasons 1 and 2.  Vanessa Kirby.  She was terrific.  Really compelling portrayal of Princess Margaret.
