So, did George opt out of attending so he could stay home with the knuckleheads?

No George, I didn't think he would attend the party he never has. I love the costumes of Amal and Cindy disco queens.

I don't think Halloween is George's thing.

Rande wore a totally different look for the party. I think that was something done for Casamigos not the party.

During Suburbicon press tour, George said that, for the first time, he would've attended the party, this year. 
I wonder what happened.

Just looks like one of her one piece outfits, except it's a gown (?) .   Different hair, that's all.

Yeah, I didn't think Amal's 'costume' was that great, either. Except for the teased hair, it looks like one of her 'quirky' date night get-ups.

I just thought - after I saw Kim Kardashian dressed as Cher for the party - that maybe Amal was dressed as Diana Ross. Cindy could be Bianca Jagger, but both is just my thought.

Could be that something's up. He cancelled on the UK premiere for Suburbicon, too. I thought he stayed home to go to the Casamigos party, but it looks like he didn't go to that either.

Something definitely is up as far as the cancellation of the U.K. premiere. But as far as I can recall George has never gone to the Casamigos Halloween bashes. He and Amal were in town last year but didn’t attend. But it is curious why Amal went alone.

Carol, I kept racking my brain trying to think of Amal’s wig and who she might be imitating. First I thought maybe Donna Summer, a true disco queen of her time. But I think youre right. Diana Ross.

It probably was Diana ross , she still wears her hair like that .

It's probably something simple why he didn't go , he got sick or the baby sitter couldn't make it.

Baria may have left who knows. We won't know until he says if he ever does.

Definitely get the impression that the Clooneys take turns to go out - not too many pix of dinner dates together this time since they've been back in LA........

Pan he did say they are hands on so I guess they prefer to take care of the babies themselves.

Just so you know, Amal made the front page of the NY Post today.

Notice Isla Fisher was there too - she was also snapped with Amal at the William Vintage LA opening.

Remember thinking on that occasion that both George and Sacha were probably at home in charge of their children. I can just imagine their exchange of emails during that evening!

I can't help thinking something's up. I can't see George sitting home babysitting while Amal goes out partying with his friends. His no-show at the party doesn't feel right.

If - IF - George is laying low because of the reception, then Amal should have stayed with him. He doesn't usually show at this thing anyway, so it could have played out as no big deal that he wasn't there. But for her to party without him, on a weekend when he's getting skewered (relatively), just draws unwanted and unneeded speculation, IMO.

Things happen plans change they obviously decided Amal should go and he didn't for whatever reason, I'm sure he had a good one for not going. I don't think it had anything to do with the bad reviews he is a big boy and has faced this before.

I agree Annemarie. We have no idea why he didn’t go. Total speculation at this point. I do keep wondering if his no show has anything to do with the cancellation of the U.K. premiere. But as we’ve said before he hasn’t been to the parties before so maybe he sent mom out for some fun on her own. Still just speculating.....

I could be wrong (probably am) but it seems to me he hasn't gone to the other parties because he wasn't in town at the time. I honestly don't think he's hiding out because of the reviews. As Annemarie said, he's a big boy and can take it. Besides, the reviews haven't been that bad - just not great. Almost all said he's a very good director whose movies just don't live up to expectations. IMO there's something else going on.

I don't recall him ever attending this party, which I've always thought was odd because Halloween is supposed to be his favorite holiday.  Maybe it's just not his jam, or Sacha's, and they sent the wives and hung out at home together. Maybe he has the flu. Who knows, but I doubt very much he's in hiding because of bad reviews. If I recall correctly, Monuments Men bothered him because he recognized it wasn't what he wanted it to be, and wasn't happy with how it turned out.  He seems to be very happy with Suburbicon, and I don't think he cares so much about what critics say that he'll skip a night out with his wife and best friends.

I agree. George put everything into that movie and got the worst reviews of his career. The reviews were brutal. To top it off it bombed at the box office. If the reviews had been good I think he would have gone to the Halloween party. As it is he's probably at home licking his wounds and drowning his sorrows in booze.

I agree that it's inappropriate of Amal to go out to what was a D list party without George with the Kardashians present. Why is she so thirsty for attention and how can anyone respect her as a lawyer when it seems she will go to the opening of an envelope to get her picture in the papers. I didn't see Gloria Allred there.....

They say George was unable to attend "due to a work commitment".

This party was given by her husband and his Partner, why shouldn't she go . It is one of the big halloween  events in Hollywood.
Amal is rarely seen anywhere she has been to what three  events, the Versace , the premiere and now this party.
They have been in Los Angeles for a month so not many events at all.
It was expected they would both be  there if George couldn't go then at least one of the Clooney's attended.

Weren't they already set up for life? How the f**k much do you need?!!!

They are doing good things with the money. So in that sense it has set them up to do even more with charity things that are important to them.  T

That's what I though as well. He does go home and we don't always here about it so it is possible.
