It sounds to me that Smokehouse bought the rights to transist the book 'Flat Earth News' into a movie or TV series. Nick Davies, a journalist, describes the mechanics of falsehood, distortion and propaganda in newspapers and broadcasters - i.g. 'fake news'.
I haven't read it myself yet, but it does does sound very interesting - and very up-to-date as well.

From the same guy who wrote Hack Attack about the court case on the British newspapers and their illegal practices run by Rupert Murdoch (Fox Pictures, Fox News etc., Sky, Sunday Times, The Times, The Sun etc). George also has an option on that.
