George Clooney is not raising a “stink” over “dirty diaper duty,” contrary to a report that paints the new father as a bad dad. Gossip Cop has learned the inaccurate story is fake news.

RadarOnline exclaims in a headline, “THE CRAP PACK: New Dad George Raises Stink Over Dirty Diaper Duty!” According to the webloid, “The thrill of being first-time parents after the birth of their twins is over for movie hunk George Clooney and his wife Amal, who are now bickering over the stinky job of changing diapers.” After welcoming daughter Ella and son Alexander last month, the site claims “the power couple began trying to dodge diaper duty.”
“George considers changing diapers beneath him. In his mind, it’s not his job,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. “But Amal has told him it’s what he signed up for, so deal with it!” Still, the outlet’s supposed source contends, “He’s not so keen on wiping the kids’ butts and cleaning up after them when there’s throw-up.” And the purported tipster maintains “it irks [Amal] that George won’t get his hands dirty,” and asserts the dispute may actually “explode into all-out war if they don’t compromise!”

Gossip Cop wonders if this is the same “insider” who wrongly told the online publication George and Amal were sleeping in separate bedrooms earlier this year. And if RadarOnline actually has sources close to the couple, why did the webloid regurgitate a false report last month about George and Amal supposedly hiring “baby bouncers” to guard the twins? The Oscar winner’s rep exclusively told Gossip Cop the tale was fiction, which the site would’ve known if it actually had an “insider.”

But we’re assured no one is actually talking to the dubious outlet about Clooney’s diaper-changing habits. And we can confirm that, despite how this story makes him look, the actor is a hands-on dad and over the moon about caring for the babies. Any claim saying otherwise is simply fake news.
