hey enjoyed an evening of watching explosions in the sky together.
But it wasn't all romance as George and Amal Clooney were joined by an A-list third wheel.
The 55-year-old actor and his 38-year-old wife were pictured cuddling up and sipping tequila aboard their boat in Lake Como, Italy while watching the Fourth of July fireworks with Bill Murray.

Sparks fly: The two stars hosted an Independence Day party complete with fireworks
No doubt the legendary 65-year-old comedian couldn't help but show off his funny side as he sat next to the power couple while wearing a shirt which had 'George Clooney is a beautiful man' on it. 


The shirt was sold by Kentucky For Kentucky featuring artwork designed by Ben Wade and is currently sold out on their online store.
The famous trio certainly seemed to be mystified by the pyrotechnic display as they all peered into the sky with smiles on their faces while clutching onto glasses filled with George's Casamigos brand of tequila.
Though they were joined by the Lost In Translation star on the bow of the boat, Amal couldn't help but sneak a kiss on her man's cheek while watching the night sky light up.

The Oceans 11 star was dressed casually in a grey short-sleeve button-down with white trousers as he held onto an almost empty bottle of the Casamigos Reposado Tequila.
He and wife Amal both went barefoot on the boat as she sported a flowy white lace dungarees.

The British-Lebanese lawyer and activist wore her raven-coloured locks down flowing over her shoulders as she had natural, complimentary make-up on her face with a swipe of bright red lip.
Aside from the humourous T-shirt, Bill sported a white patterned shirt with the buttons undone and sleeves rolled up, white trousers and slip-on Tennis shoes.
Amal and George - who tied the knot in an idyllic ceremony in Venice in September 2014 - spend much of their time at the actor's Lake Como residence, and have been seen together countless times in the scenic Italian region together in recent months.
Recently, they were seen travelling through Rome, where they attended a seminar led by the Pope called 'Un Muro o Un Ponte' at the Paul VI Hall in Vatican City in late May.

Mind the gap: George was careful before he stepped out on the ship
The event aimed to promote work by global educational initiative organisation Scholas Occurentes which works with young people all over the world, and highlighted the plight of migrants attempting to reach Europe.
Pope Francis awarded medals to Richard Gere, George and Salma Hayek for their contributions.
'Important values can be transmitted by celebrities,' said one of the organisers, Lorena Bianchetti, adding that the actors had agreed to be ambassadors for one of the foundation's arts projects.
The last sighting of the Clooneys was less than two weeks ago, with the smitten pair seen enjoying a low-key meal at il Gatto Nero restaurant in Cernobbio, another favoured eatery near their Como villa.
Earlier in May, they put on a striking joint display on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival as George premiered his latest movie, Money Monster.

The fail needs some adult writers, they say Amal is kissing George on the cheek you can clearly see she is talking to someone on the other side of of the boat.

Yea I noticed that too. And they used the word 'mystified' when describing how Amal and George were watching the fireworks. The DF should just stick to pictures. First year journalism students could write better copy than this drivel.

I wonder if Bill did his usual of phoning from Milan airport to say "I'm here...can I come to yours 
for a while ?" I do like that. Shows a good friendship,
 to me.
Why did George carry a nearly empty bottle of
Casamegos onto the boat I wondered ?

I think they finished the bottle on the boat George had a glass there was a glass next to Amal and Bill had a glass.

I suspect he probably shared it.

Question:Has George got a new boat?
