He IS fine annemarie with... or without. I'm one of the clean shaven fans but George seems to enjoy this look because he keeps going back to it. Either way he's mighty fine.

I think he looks great with a beard.
Off topic: My sister's husband has a beard most of the time, and my sister always says that she prefers when he has a beard because kissing is much better (and also oral sex
