George Clooney Adds Adopted Pooch Millie to His Casamigos 'House of Friends'

When you're George Clooney's daughter, you're included in everything the A-list actor does – even if you are a recently adopted, short-legged basset hound.

Clooney personally added his floppy-eared friend, Millie, to his Casamigos, "House of Friends," over the holiday.

In a photo, taken by Clooney himself, the 4-year-old pup sits on a rug wearing a Casamigos Tequila baseball cap turned sideways as she gives the camera her best puppy dog eyes.  

The Gravity star and his wife Amal Clooney adopted Millie from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society in October, just weeks after she was found searching for food scraps outside of a local restaurant.

After an hour and a half "meet and greet" with the dog, during which she was introduced to their other rescues, Millie became the newest member of the Clooney clan.

"Millie found her forever home and Clooneys have a new best friend," Jennifer Clarke, the shelter's social media coordinator told PEOPLE at the time. "They all left together as one big happy family!"

Interesting dog. My family had one take up with us when I was a kid. Boy dog. It was determined to stay with us. Ppl kept trying to walk off with the dog, but it came right back every time. even tho one truck load of guys took the dog far off.

Dad liked it a lot but he was worried that it might belong to someone with kids and he didn't want to deprive them of their dog.  But even tho they and others tried to take the dog, it kept coming back to us.  And as far as I know, it stayed there a long time after I left with my husband, and didn't hear about it anymore. It wasn't gonna leave willingly.

They are very loving sweet types. So cute and cuddly too. And the more attention you give one, the more it will hang with you. The Basset hounds are a very good breed for families.

NotAvailable, I've read the same thing about Bassets so I think Millie is a great addition to the Clooney clan.  Sounds like your basset was pretty devoted to your family.  Sweet.

Guys, not to pick nits but this has been bugging me. Millie the "beagle" is not a beagle. She's a basset hound!

Poor Millie, she is no more.  Must have died this summer or perhaps earlier this year.

Aww! Poor thing was only about 8 years old. Is that old for a basset hound? I know some dog breeds have shorter life spans. Only @56 in human years. Sad.
