I think as George is now in UK they plan to elope 
to Gretna Green.....that's in Scotland for non Brits....

For the thief? That is a puntual thing, I'm sure more things has happened since he has the villa and we don´t know about it.
If he doesn´t do the wedding there is because the paparazzis, it´s too easy to take photos and they don´t have too much privacy.

Well I don't know if I wouldn't also be tempted to climb a fence if I was in front of George's villa in Cabo!! Just to get to walk around there would be awesome! But of course, I don't think I'd like being in jail, never been there, never want to find out what it's all about! HA!!

I've visited someone in prison....an old Victorian 
one too with a creepy atmosphere.
It was over 50 years ago but I can still remember the experience as I went every month for a while.

Not the wine! George Clooney's estate on Lake Como in Italy was targeted by a burglar on Thursday, May 22.
According to the Telegraph, the robber attempted to break into the 53-year-old actor's luxurious villa, but only succeeded in stealing one measly bottle of wine.
A source tells Us Weekly: "The alleged burglar, a 29-year-old Romanian man, found the wine in a small alcove in the garden of the lakeside property and then tried to force his way into the villa."

The thief didn't make it far. The Telegraph reports he was spotted by Clooney's security and the police were called, later arresting the man upon arrival. The criminal was then taken to a police station nearby and charged with theft.

Clooney is currently in London with his fiance Amal Alamuddin. The actor arrived at Heathrow airport alone yesterday, May 21, and took a car to meet his lady love, carrying with him only a "small pull-along suitcase," a source tells Us.

Clooney and British attorney Alamuddin, 36, who got engaged just last month, are expected to tie the knot sometime this fall.

Burglar Scales the Walls of George Clooney's Lake Como Villa, Heads Straight for the Wine Cellar
Somebody apparently had a real craving for wine.
An intruder was arrested after he allegedly broke into George Clooney's luxurious Lake Como villa in Italy on Wednesday.
But rather than head straight to the main house first, the alleged burglar, a 29-year-old Romanian man, is said to have made a beeline for the wine cellar, where he supposedly grabbed a bottle to go, according to the Telegraph.
It was only then that he went over and tried to gain access into the residence. The alleged thief was spotted by a member of the Oscar winner's staff, who subsequently called police.
When authorities arrived, the man allegedly threatened them with the very bottle he had taken, but was overpowered, arrested and later charged with theft.
Clooney was not at his home at the time.
"It was my birthday and I decided to go in there," the man is quoted as saying to police. "I had been thinking about it for a long time. I was looking for money. I was ready to burn down the house."
According to local reports, a quick trial was held on Thursday and the culprit, who was allegedly drunk at the time of his arrest, was sentenced to eight months' probation and released.
The incident comes less than a month after news broke that the 53-year-old actor had popped the question to British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.
The couple recently celebrated their engagement at a star-studded bash in Malibu on Mother's Day.
