The poster has been revealed....not bad although no photo of Cate Blanchett...I do like that Bob Balaban gets a listing.

Thanks SG. I expected a different poster. Yes makes you think about Ocean 11 all the boys together but i also don't like the colors - yellow and black??? I think I expected a more emotional poster because of the story. But well. Will get used to it after looking at it many times hehehe

WW2 was long before Danny Ocean's era of course.
I'm really looking forward to this film and hubby is too !

Relatively, but quite a key role in France where she meets Damon who plays Rorimer, and as part of the whole thing. I won't say any more.

I love love love Cate....I hope she has a fair old crack of the whip (screen time).......but if you can only have one lady in it - you couldn't do better!!! IMO. Also in pic's we have seen so far...does anyone else think she was channeling a Kate Hepburn look???

And YES, we are bang on for a forties revival (fashion word).....yayaya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked the poster solumn to reflect the war. I was a little puzzled about Matt being the center. That is George's hand I'm sure. God Bless him. They most likely will have several new ones as it gets closer to release date. It is going to be spectacular movie

Ok honest review from the field.
People do not stop and stare these posters but take a glimpse. What you see is Monuments Man, Matt Damon and December.

I like the colors yellow, black and white. Not sure about the font. It´s modern, it´s today.

The picture of characters is too forced (maybe not right word). Something more pictoresque scenic maybe. Huge miss is that Clooney is not in front. (Women´s perspective, but men do not mind).

I wanted to go and see argo, talked about it to many friends (women). None were interested as it didn´t cast Clooney. Maybe Damon has huge fan base, and he is liked, but as far as I know it is nothing compared to George´s. All the women love him, no matter what type they like. So this poster misses to represent him in centre where he belongs.

But the ones that are making last minute decicions, poster plays a big part. It might come as a suprise, but this is one area where women decide

I guess when we see the movie than we will know why Matt is the centre. Propably his role is more important.
 
Also I read in a newspaper somewhere that Matt Damon is a favorite actor everywhere especially in the US as lot of people see him as the average American. So maybe is has something to do with it too. Just guessing.
 
But to be honest, centre or not you see George straight away as there is only one grey "SEXY" man with a mustache hehehe
