I think this clip is so timely as everyone discusses George and his girlfriends. Let's face it - they are all extremely attractive, if not drop-dead gorgeous. Think of all the additional ladies he could choose from if he weren't so obsessed with young beauty. However, maybe if he started a relationship with someone not-so-gorgeous, she'd be ripped to shreds in the media. How sad.

I love Dustin Hoffman. He may not be as good-looking as George, but he's still very attractive, intelligent, talented, and probably not as shallow.

Lawrence O'Donnell a political commentator on MSNBC did a segment called Rewrite on this video last night. The video is picking up steam and hopefully his message will be absorbed to some degree in the greater societal consciousness.

Dustin really speaks from his heart. Wish more men thought this way.

I strongly disagree, and reading comments everywhere, most people were bemused he dated Keibler in the first place because they were so mismatched. He lacked balance with her & Elisabetta Canallis.

George Clooney CAN get amongst the most beautiful women he wants: in their 20s (from his neice's age upwards), professional REAL models, beauty queens, any...

Stacy Keibler & Elisabetta Canalis are a far cry from "extremely attractive" & "drop dead - gorgeous."  
They have very average faces, thin hair, typical women you see walking in the street everyday. No one looks back at them.
THEY MOST CERTAINLY WERE NOT BEAUTIFUL, NOR YOUNG "BEAUTIES."  
Only how their PR teams would market them.

They're fit as that's their obsession and only attribute they can sell.
They have not higher education, hardly excelled in talent, no literary pursuits or athletic prowess.
Just peripheral entertainers, & rather plain-looking.  With heavily photo-shopped images to sell "desperate sexy."

If Clooney was obseessed with young beauty, he'd be with  a beauty queen or beautiful Victoria Secret's supermodel.  


NOW, I'D LIKE TO SEE HIM WITH SOMEONE AS PHYSICALLY ATTRACTIVE AS HIM, SINCE HE'S DATED TOOTSIES-ONE-STEP-REMOVED IN RECENT YEARS.

But even if he falls for an ordinary woman & seems like a genuine relationship, no one will rip her to shreds...Matt Damon's wife was cordially accepted by his massive fanbase.

As for Dustin Hoffman's remarks, well, it's true.
We live in a society that admires aesthetic beauty.

I wrote about this on another thread. It's congenitally psychological  & in our subconscience from birth.

Btw, Tootsie was a rather matronly dame.  Tony Curtis & Jack Lemmon faired better in Some Like It Hot.  I can understand Dustin Hoffman not being attracted to her...
