The model, as you read on Agipronews for months labeled ex but actually still linked to the most eligible bachelor in the world, has little chance to get to the altar. According to William Hill, the possibility that Clooney gets married by 2013 is 9 times the bet.

For starters, if you think that George Clooney will get married this year then you’ll find odds of 8/1 which gives you a great chance of winning some cash he does tie the knot.

A slightly more depressing betting market is on which celebrity couple will split first next year.

Favourites to go their separate ways first are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart with odds of 2/1.

The couple have broken up in the base and rumours have been spreading about the Twilight stars since it was reported that they spent Christmas apart.

Second favourites to split first are Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger with odds of 5/1 and they’re followed by Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley at 6/1. However, so far there haven’t been reports of difficulties between either couple.

At the other end of the spectrum are Prince William and Kate Middleton who, with odds of 100/1 and a baby on the way, seem very unlikely to split in 2013.

Not a gambling person either but I think if you bet $1000 that George will marry this year, and he does...you would win $8000? Gambling COHers will know...

If I had a $1000 bucks I wouldn't waste it on that he'd get married, cause that's a bet I'd lose.

Now if I'm betting he won't get married that's a different story.
