Somewhere a reporter wrote that George only has room for one star in his universe and that's him. Which begs the Catch 22 question with the Keibs - "I love all the pap attention and notoriety, but if I get too famous, will I lose Clooney? If I stay a D-lister, will the Cloonster stay around longer?
Point is, we often observe and comment on how her career is going nowhere, but if it did take off, well, Mr. GC would likely move on. So does Keibler know this and 'dumb down' her career options? Just thinking out loud here....

Well, here is the deal: no matter what path Stacy will take for her career, her relationship with George will be limited, sooner or later. He just gets tired of the arm candy, and wants a new one.

Oh I agree, MM. Ok, just to clarify, I am not saying that Stacy is actually turning away a high profile/paying employer, but only because I don't think she's getting that many offers. I guess the point is....is she aware that her shelf life depends on remaining mediocre and man! wouldn't that play with your mind a bit? What a line to have to walk - desperate for fame, but keeping what little she's getting (i.e. gf of) means not getting too much fame.

It makes sense, how many famous stars have long term relationships? Most of the time when it works, one has more fame and success than the other.

Yeah, but I have a hard time imagining her even being offered jobs that would make her hugely successful in her own right.

We often talk as though she's a failure for not making it, but we forget how unlikely success is.

If she were offered these opportunities, I think she'd take them and to hell with George! I hope she would, anyway. Let's hope the woman has a little gumption.

I think she's pretty aware that their relationship has nowhere to go and eventually must end. I'm sure she's enjoying it for the time being, and the good things it brings her, with the knowledge that the ride will be over sooner or later.

George is an interesting person. He personally is of the 'take every opportunity', 'knock on every door', 'try everything and more', 'work your socks off' type and I think he wouldn't really understand any other attitude from his partner.

Even if she wanted to spend all day every day lazing around eating chocolate, I think he'd be pushing her to get out there and make a name for herself and follow her dreams.

On the other hand, yes, if his partner were to become famous and successful as a result of following that strategy would he be able to handle it? I kind of doubt it.

Playful deb, thank you for the nice sentiment .....In my experience, "LIFE" is not handing the lemons to me or putting them in a nice basket with a pretty bow.....


"LIFE" is using a new, automated "LEMON LAUNCHER" which "torpedos" the lemons at me. Most of the lemons are getting damaged by the force of impact and cannot be used for a "LEMONCELLO" recipe. (I know...TRAGEDY....people may have to stay sober?!)

The lemons that hit me in the eye(s) really hurt. I am learning that my eyes are very sensitive. Usually I don't cry, but now I have "Waterworks" moments. Some of the lemons are hitting my "THIRD" eye. It is IMPACT plus ACID BURN to my eye....that causes "WTF" episode for me.

I guess I need to save up for goggles and a helmet!!

NOTE to "LIFE" and the Universe: Please slow the "Lemon Launching." Also please properly name and label the lemons being tossed at me. I am looking for the lemons named "Jack."I am thinking about creating a "7 Lemmon Sangria."
