Hollywood has had its share of leading men, but there are very few who are as well liked and influential as George Clooney. His success is a typical Hollywood story of working your way up and never giving up on your dreams – eventually, you get lucky and you make it. However, in the case of George, there were also several rumors that continued to dodge him on his way up and now that he’s a bona fide A-list star, those whispers have quieted down a lot. But they haven’t gone away completely. What whispers, you might ask? Well, the ones of him being gay, of course.
George’s relationships are always in the spotlight, as is his love life. By now, we’ve seen that he’s against getting married, and he’s not really looking for a long-term commitment. Some say that it’s because he just doesn’t see the point in marriage when he can just have fun – fair enough, and honestly, to each his own. However, a LOT of people believe otherwise. They think that George is actually gay, and that all of his recent girlfriends were just his beards.
A new blind item that was released from Blind Gossip seemingly points to him, (or Ryan Seacrest, but that isn’t even news, is it?) with all the clues fitting his lifestyle and public persona. But – the blind item states that he’s bisexual, not gay. The report goes on to name a series of clues, which we can match and see what holds true.
In public, our A-list movie star only dates beautiful women – check. Elizabetta Canalis, Stacy Keibler, Sarah Larson. The conditions of his relationship with them is that he’s allowed to see whoever he wants on the side, including men, but she must remain exclusive. And of course, not say anything, especially after the relationship is over.
Then, the next set of descriptors are, “He’s good looking. And famous. And very rich. And very connected.” Pretty much all of them fit Clooney to the T – handsome, famous, rich, and connected. The last thing added is pretty much the clincher though – it states that the fact that Clooney is connected doesn’t help any of his ex-girlfriends/girlfriends. Let’s take a look at his girlfriends and where they are now – Elizabetta Canalis – last we heard, she was modeling somewhere, and pretty much off the radar. Sarah Larson – well, no one even knows what she’s up to. Stacy Keibler – well, Keibler is still with Clooney so she’s safe for now. But her career hasn’t really experienced a significant bump, even though her profile in the media has. So what happens when she and George break up? Well, she goes back to whatever she was doing before. So all the clues seem to fit George Clooney. What do you guys think?

Think you're right Silly Girl...Stacy is hurriedly packing right now, and I'd bet we see her there tomorrow, with way more PDA than usual...which makes me sad. I wish he would do the opposite; tell her to stay home until she was really headed his way and just do his thing.

Actually these Blind Items are rather mean. You could say whatever you want, couched in these terms, it will no doubt apply to someone, some time, and I presume the site is protected legally. If it fits anyone, it fits Ryan S. He recently broke up with his D List "girlfriend." He seems to have modeled his private life after G's in that he likes them at least 18 years younger and hungry for fame.

Julianne H has no star power and actually got real movie roles thru his intervention, unlike the "girls" G tends to pick. I don't know much about Ryan, don't like him, so the one aspect in the blind I don't know fits is who he was with before his last one. And the fact that his last one did get a few movie deals, where G's girls get very little besides appearances at car shows etc.

Just wish G would ignore it but know they won't.

Sounds like someone is pissed at George and trying to get back at him....I'm not sure how sk going to Germany would stop it?? I would think it could only help confirm it...jmo

Has anyone else noticed how almost every blind item that could refer to George fits equally well to Leo diCaprio too?

Leo & George are very similar in the possible blind dept. To me the deviation is that most of Leo's girls are models, a lot Victoria Secret Models, with their own careers whereas George's seem a bit lower on the career scale. I think this one was meant for George, but I really don't believe most of these blinds are true. I used to know someone who worked for a gossip magazine years ago, and he said they generally look for one nugget of truth and then expand on it in an interesting and gossipy way. Sometimes they are right sometimes, not so much.

I do wonder as these rumors seem to happen more near the end of George's relationships, do you think the current girlfriends let it out there to hang on longer. Just a thought as people do interesting things to hang on to a relationship. Maybe the blinds and gossip do bother George on some level that we don't know, but the girls do.

It is just disgusting how they can get away with such garbage. No matter what you do it will be used in the wrong way. It's not George and it might not even be anyone. Love you George.

Agree with you Katie. He should just ignore this BS. And, Stacy should stay at home and do her promotional tweets and red carpet appearances. Doesn't her show start in May? Seems like even if they'd planned to meet, it will now look like they're trying to prove to some idiot they're together. Have to say, while having enough money to not worry about anything ever again would be lovely, I would not want the rest of their lives.

And these blind things are ridiculous. It is funny that all the George related ones do apply to Leo as well but he's pretty much doing the same thing--just seems to use the Victoria Secret catalogue instead of Maxim.

I do, a massive poster on the door to my walk-in-robe, I get away with it sort of, as its a movie poster, not just some gratuitously gorgeous headshot of George - hubby once said he was going to put a poster of Stacy above our bed, but once I remarked, "so you like your new life of celibacy do you?", well that ended that idea.

Blind Item #2 - Easy Easy

He had told her they were finished. This A+ list mostly movie actor had finally split for good from this C list celebrity and former reality star. Then she texted a photo of herself in Cannes sitting in this A+ list mostly movie star's lap to her former guy. The next thing you know she was being whisked to his side to have dinner and spend the night. She wants another contract.

Hahahaha! So that's why the dinner with Leo DiCaprio?!??

Well, the timeline doesn't add up. After Cannes she went to Monaco as we know while he was in London dancing at a nightclub.

I don't think this is George, it said mostly actor. DiCaprio is mostly actor but George isn't. He's had his hands in too many other aspects of the filming industry to be called mostly an actor.

I don't follow anyone else so I don't have any clue who it could be.

howlong does it take to reveal the person(s) involved?

Annoyingly, they don't always reveal these blind items.

I'm wondering if some may REALLY be true and the celebrity's legal team gently asks Enty to STOP.

From what I can tell of George, if he told Stacy he is done, he would not care whose lap she sat in. It has always seems to me that he disengages emotionally way before the end.

ITA...he doesn't play games like that. Once he's done...he's done. And as Katie pointed out, the time line doesn't add up because we know that after Cannes, Stacy went to Monaco and hung out with the Princess for cocktails. We have photographic evidence of that occurring. So unless she can be in two places at once...this isn't them. I wonder sometimes if these blind gossip writers read things and make up the rest since they don't usually reveal who they were talking about. Most blinds stay that way...because they can fit more than one situation and are mostly made up based around "some" fact to make them plausible.

Also two points on the Leo angle:
1. Leo is constantly surrounded by women and has been since Cannes began. Why would a pic of Stacy and him in any way cause worry or concern?
2. Stacy is way too old to date Leo. He likes them young, eager and on the payroll for Vic Secret.

If the pic went public implying she dumped him, he could easily confirm that they had split months before and that would be the story. It wouldn't be a shock to anyone.

And really if it was the case of what stacy was doing, do you really think Leo hasn't seen all this tricks and games before with the girls he has dated? If it occurred, I would put money on Leo contacting George so he was in the loop as the games being played.

Stacy will be done by July or August if we believe in "contract" expirations. Then some formal announcement of going their separate ways with the usual top secret parting gifts. Same old, same old. This plot is not hard to deciper, blind items or not.

Enty Lawyer used to only do his reveals on Jan 1st and then I think July 4th.

But lately he does about 5 to 7 almost every weekend.

This C list mostly movie actress who has tried the celebrity route and reality star route to get famous is telling friends that her persistence has paid off and that she gets a one week tryout with this A+ list mostly movie actor later this summer.

This is not a reveal just a blind item posted recently.

This was on Lainey today, I read it as George. But considering Lainey's history with blinds about G, not putting much stock in it.

There’s a reason she recently decided to flaunt her brand new relationship so publicly. Suddenly she’d found true love behind the scenes? And they were telling magazines about it? And getting papped on holiday in Europe? It was because she was sending a message.

To the major Hollywood player with whom she’d been having an affair for 6 months. Only, at the time, he had a girlfriend. They were dealing with each other undercover. She would travel to see him while he was shooting on location overseas. No one, none of us, picked up on the fact that she showed up in the same city. He was sleeping with both the official girlfriend and the side job and telling the side job that he’d break up with the official one and make her the bonafide but, really, the side job, to him, was just a good f-ck and not a proper escort at the kinds of functions he usually needs an escort for. She continued to pressure him though and when he refused her demands, she showed up with a new man, jammed it in his face – and ours – and very shortly afterwards, he formally ended it with his gf, with a generous send-off.

Now? Impasse. She’s enjoying her summer hookup. And he’s all like, ok, I’m available, you can come to me, or don’t. It’s not like he can’t find a replacement, like, right away. Any woman becomes an instant star as soon as he takes her out. Given that she’s already a star, on a smaller scale, their reveal, should they figure out their situation, would be great for gossip though it could overshadow his work. And he has a lot of it coming up.

Ok not George Clooney related but it involves another famous bachelor.  Hmm, should I do this as a blind item?  Yup.

I went on a Hollywood stars homes tour today.  The driver/tour guide was pretty funny but seemed to have quite a bit of insider Hollywood knowledge because he told us he has a lot of friends in the industry.

I tend to believe this guy - he's older - in his late 50's I think and he used to work in as an attorney.  (Interestingly, his firm has done work for the company where I work.)

Anyhoo, as we were passing the Chateau Marmont he of course, told us about how Jim Belushi died there of an overdose.

He then mentioned a very famous actor - known worldwide and who has been in a ton of hit films.  He likes to date a certain type of woman.

Anyway, as we're passing the hotel he tells us that this famous actor keeps a bungalow at the Marmont.  And then he said, " Where he entertains many a young man and an occasional woman (of the type he is known to date)."

I was like WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS?  And he said, "I said it, oh yes I did."  

I didn't see that one coming.

So do we want to spend some time guessing? Yes, let's do that!  This should be fun!
